I have the angle grinder, and was kinda thinking that was the direction I'd end up having to go. Oh well.

I have a Hobart 220, should git-r-done. Have been to the mountaintop to be trained (that's down Hernando way, btw).

I might or might not have a plasma cutter coming from the nether regions of Asia for this project.... So that could prove to be fun.

I've already been thinking that I'd like to use left over metal to do a skid plate or three.

Tim, if you can't wrap your head around the "score and bend" technique, just cut it completely and weld it. No worries.

When would ya'll like to do some wrenching? I need to swap coils and shocks on the 4Runner and do an oil / filter / lube as well? Week nights are my only option for a couple weeks, as weekends are booked up solid.

Club meeting at Cam's house? He has a good amount of driveway in which to work.

I'm going to swap coils and shocks on the 4Runner this Saturday morning (let's say 9ish...) at Cameron's place. All are welcome to join.

Rumor is that Cameron might be doing some work to his whip as well.

Sorry, I'll be wheeling. :flipoff2:

How long are yall going to be out there?

Should be a couple hours. I plan to get there between 8 and 9. May even show up earlier. It's hot!

If time permits, I need to do an oil change, spark plugs, trans flush, maybe even coolant flush, and adjust the hood.

We'll just see how the suspension thing goes and work from there, I guess.

Cameron is now sorry he volunteered his drive and tools... Shorty snap!!!

Eff struts...

Got the front suspension done. Gained about 1 1/4" of lift in the front.

Looking to do the rear suspension this week sometime. Anyone down to party?

I tried to do the rear suspension last night but got denied by the upper shock mounts. Lame...

I put on the longer coils with the factory shocks. I will have to try again some other day on removal of shocks.

I do the work at Cam-er-on's in his carport. It's not the glam life, but it gets it done. And I thank Cameron for his hospitality.

Thinking about finishing this chapter in my life on Saturday. Anyone game?

I need to see Jordan for some parts swapping anyway, so I may come on down too. Anyone interested in getting togther for breakfast instead of or in addition to lunch? Bryant's????

Well Jordan, my parts gathering for you didn't pan out like it was supposed to and another engagement that I was expecting to happen is still up in the air. So its now looking as though even I won't make it. :( Unless you really need a second pair of hands and eyes? I could ride the bike down and help out for a while.
