Well I know Rodney and I have one of his valve bodies in my A442F. I was not aware he had a flush named after him. I wonder if he knows?

That would be interesting to know indeed.

So that time I read about the exact same technique on a Subaru forum years ago when I looked into this for our Forester stole it from Rodney?

I’ve been having so many customers ask about #SwitchPros mounting options that I finally gave in and got one of my own switchpros sp9100 so that I can continue doing development. I would have probably gone SPod myself but I gotta go where customers keep pointing me. This one is going into the Turbo LX450 and will be used to control the hood lights, methanol injection, York OBA pump and JDM fan to name a few. I literally just got it today so give me some time.

Cover it in matching leather (Oak or Beige)??

So here’s the thing: I don’t know what I plan to do with this. I’m still toying with just making the print file available vs. making prints for folks. But it’s been modified over what the OEM gears did and in order to install it correctly the gears do need a machine pass with a reamer to get the long adjuster to press in properly and get the gears to mesh nicely. This hasn’t been forgotten but it has moved forward because it turns out I need one 🤔

I

I can barely print in 2D, let alone 3D....

I’d REALLY like to purchase some of these so I can fix my OEM headlights!

Just sayin’

Forgive my ignorance, but what is it?

Adjustment gears and rods for the headlights. They are internal so you might not have seen ‘em if you haven’t had your headlights apart. My gears are completely disintegrated.

I like having the #SwitchPros mount on the ashtray but then I started thinking about other options where I’d have better eye line for the buttons. Now I’m looking at either making a mount that fits on the mirror mount cover (or replaces it) or maybe making an insert to replace the clock. The clock is utterly useless in the day of car radios, cell phones and watches. 🤔🤔🤔

Not to ruin your day, but TLC also replaces the clock with a printed switch panel. ;) But you may have more switches...

My vote is to mount under to dome light switch off the rear view mirror mount.

I vote under the dome light/sun roof controls. I can barely see my clock and it's hard to reach.

I am going to adjust my vote from clock to under the dome light controls...my tablet is in the way of the clock.
