This site is viewed by many skilled and talented people and I don't understand why someone has not been industrious enough to build a quality and safe tire carrier. I don't have the skills to make one and hope someone wakes up soon.

If @NLXTACY does decide to resurrect this project, I'd be very interested. I've seen this product from Wilco, which appears very solid and along the lines of what I'm looking for, but at $1500 you might as well go with a full bumper: Wilco Hitchgate, Offset

I just saw on the news this morning that we can't use that term anymore, lest we offend someone. 'Manpower' now has to be 'workforce'.
Or the 'WOKE' people will be upset.

I find "workforce" to be offensive to anyone that is employment-disinclined.
