I'm working my 86 fj60. Removed the center console and I saw these two plugs. Have no idea what they are. One is plugged in, the green one isn't. If anyone knows, please tell me. Thanks

I think the one that’s not plugged in goes to the 02 sensor in the catalytic converter.

Maybe the other one goes to the seatbelt or brake light?

*temperature sensor* in the catalytic convertor. Sorry to be pedantic, but it doesn't measure O2. I bet you're right though - one is definitely for the seat belt, the other sure looks like the wire for the cat temp sensor that feeds the smog pump computer.

Check underneath the car for the other end of that line. It should be near where the catalytic converter is/would be located. The temperature probe fits into a port on the inlet side of the CAT. If you don't have a CAT and the probe is just hanging there you might want to remove it.

These temperature probes are NLA and working ones are useful for those of us who live in states that require smog testing (California for one). If yours is still working you might want to keep it safe or try to sell it in the classifieds.
