Finally got around to repairing the broken hinge on my center console lid. Found these acrylic hinges on Amazon:
Used the broken hinge to replicate size and mounting hold locations, and then tried to match the pivot point from the original hinge. The Acrylic is a little brittle, so if your holes are off, take the extra few seconds to "shape" the hole so that it lines up perfectly. Learned this the hard way on my first attempt when I cracked the acrylic hinge thinking it would have more "flex" that it did. The hinge pivot was too far back on attempt #2 so the latch would not engage. Got it all dialed in on attempt #3. Good thing the pack comes with 3 hinges!
