Wire identification 74 fj40 (1 Viewer)

I had cooler man clean up my harness and relocated a few of them a few years ago and still currently working on the cruiser and need held with the identity of currently two wires.
I believe the one I’m holding in the first picture is carb solenoid but not 100% sure. The second picture with the bullet connector I have no idea. Thanks for any help provided.

Are you able to power the harness up and check voltage?

I would assume that the wire with the heat shield fabric on it is the one for the ICS.

The other black one with the butt connector might not be used for your application.

At one point I was thinking the same thing but if that’s the case ICS wire on the harness side? Unless it’s the other wire and need a pig tail to connect it to the carb side.

IIRC, on my '74, there was a bullet connector for the carb solenoid...

Here is March 74 build picture I took today and it has 2 water temp sensors so looks like that’s what it goes to. Also I noticed the wire with the bullet connector has been hacked.

Yup, one sender for the temp gauge in the cluster, one for the emission "computer". I swapped in an aftermarket sender for a real temp gauge.
