this is exactly what i want. Who makes it? I'm sure it's $$$$$

4X4 Labs, I think. It will require you to chop off some of the frame.

If it is the 4x4 Labs bumper, they want you to leave your truck with them for a few weeks while they install it at their location. Not a good option for some of us....

but it's purdy!!!

agreed

It's definitely Luke Porter's bumper (4x4 labs). Requires the removal of the rear cross member. It's as purdy in person :D

They installed mine in 3 hours max....no big deal. If you're local. I think he'd ship it if ya want, and the crossmember hacking and grinding took all of 30 minutes...

Mine needs to see some boulders....I have been failing it.....

Anybody have pics of that bumper from underneath? Looks very snazzy, just curious how those side pieces are supported back to the frame.

those side wings basically wrap under he truck, to the frame rails and attach there with 5 bolts, two go in vertically and will get snagged if you slid across the whole bottom face of the bumper and if I remember correctly, three go in horizontally on the inside of the frame rail, where the plate is welded into a U channel that holds the whole frame....I'll try to get some detail pics over da weekend

I think you're thinking of 4Plus, the brand that MAF (?) sells, they want you to deliver your truck and just leave it for three weeks while they put sliders, or a bumper on it ::) I think 4x4 labs takes a little while to fab up the bumper, but as those who have them said, it's a (relatively) quick install.

Ben's right... I had the 4x4 Labs confused with the 4Plus. They're both in CA and are both nice looking from the pics.

Hi everyone that is my bumper, that picture was taken at Fins+things in Moab a day before CruiseMoab2004 started. Its made by Luke Porter at 4x4labs. I gave him a deposit waited about a month and a half and he installed it in an hour. The rear cross member had to be chopped, its replaced with one built in the bumper. I am extremely happy with the bumper and it handled very well in Moab. Let me know if anyone wants to see more of the bumper. :)

I am replacing and re-designing my rear bumper; probably this or the up coming week. Could you post more pictures of the bumper to get some ideas….i really like it! Very nice job.
