Obviously the entire harness is electrical taped already but split loom with zip ties would protect the best. Is this overkill? Should I look the whole thing or just in the engine compartment?

I want to get quality stuff and am not sure where to start looking? NAPA, the stuff at auto supply stores, Home Depot? I was given one pointer by a mechanic friend and that was Eastwood. I'd like to not wait for UPS on this.......also any tips or techniques, pitfalls to avoid, etc.?

Much appreciated and happy holidays! :grinpimp:

At my work sometimes i trash a lot on every size.. 1/4 > 1/2 " loom. The bad things that not always are in very longs runs , 6" to 10 '..i know i use it here on my rigs but always i got it free.

I just used the stuff you can buy at auto parts stores - I pretty much wrapped everything :D did not use electrical tape as it gets yukky sticky with age

If Claudia is talking about the "spiral loom"....that's what I use in most cases. It makes for a nice, tight loom with the benefit of being able to split off a 1, 2, or 3+ wire loom off the main.
Kind of a bitch to install, but it looks nice and seems to work well, at least for me:meh:

Ed- I love that stuff! I used to have tons of it. I actually hate the split loom look.....

Like I said, install is like sheltered-workshop tedious:frown: and so are mods, but it is a clean look.
