Thinking about picking up some while they are available. Gonna stay with the 16" since the tires I have are practically brand new KO2's. Which offset is better? The 3.5 or 4.5. I want a wider stance and will eventually get bigger tires and lift as well. Pics would be appreciated as well.

I would agree, as much as I like my 16s they are slowly going to disappear and options are going to get fewer and fewer. sell the ko2 to get some money back and get a set of 17s

I have them in the 3.5" variety and feel they have the perfect backspace for a 315/75r16. If i didn't get a deal from a friend and had the OEM wheels already I probably wouldn't have got them...

Pics for reference..thry are the shot peen metallic which I'm not sure if they make anymore or not..

I have 16's 3.5 backspacing, they might be going the way of the DoDo, but not any time soon. Here is pic

Anyone have pics of the SCS F5 in gloss white? About to pull the trigger, but would like to see some more images...especially on a beige 80.

3.5 16's still plenty of choices in tires

Here's my opinion. First, the 16's ain't going to disappear anytime soon. Still lots of 15's available. What makes people think it is going away soon? And even if it was (which I still doubt), deal with it then. I'm not spending money now on something I don't need or only may need maybe 10 years from now.

Second, 16 inch tires are less expensive than similar sized 17 inch tires.

Third, when you wheel, you want as much tire as possible. So a 16 inch 35 is better than a 17 inch 35 which is better than a 18 inch 35...More tire, you can air down and the tire will flex better.

And last, you already have 16" wheels. Why would I buy 17 inch wheels just to put on 35's that I can already put on my 16's?

I agree with this statement. If you are happy with a 265/75/16, 285/75/16 or a 315/75/16, these sizes are not going anywhere. This is what people said about 15's, but you can still get a 33x12.5x15 or 35x12.5x15 in most any variety. If you're looking for 37's or some of the funky in-between sizes (like 285/75/17) then 17's are a better place to start.
