I got a landcruiser i'm buying from a buddy,it has a Webber on it but I also have the stocker in a box with parts,I alway's ran the stocker on my old one -is the Weber better[it should be] but I've heard the stocker, working right, is best which is it?

stock working right is the best. webers are good to get you by, but can't handle the angles that the aisan can.

He means they suck on steep hills, keep the stock carb and dial it in, much better than a webber, save the webber for cooking steaks on the weekends! just kidding, I have had bad luck with webbers, but others think differently. so, thats just my thoughts on it.

Muchas Gracious,I reckon I'll order a rebuild kit when everythingg else is done ,I'm pretty much rebuilding the body from the cowl back.I made the quarters, then I decided do do the rear floor, now I figure if I do that I might as well put in new wheelwells and the mid floor is shot as well the main cross member I've made already after that it's only the front flooor.....N.Y. is not kind to these critters..I'm making most of the body from 16 ga.the floors are to be 10 Ga. only the wheel wells will be ordered...probably...the front fenders were going to be repaired but a friend gave me a set of aluminum ones that were for his but the project did not work out.hopefully in the spring she'll roll... I just don't like to patch rust holes.

South and west of you , I live on Rt 209 about an hour and a half from kingston, right near Port Jervis .Is there still a guy who has a garage or something up there with a showroom that has an FJ-45 in it?That's all I know about it ,a friend just mentioned it to me today.
