what is the difference betwen the longfield and the newfield 27 spline axle and birfield ? If you were to buy upgraded axle and birfield which would you buy and why. I am trying to decied on which to buy. Currently I am running 36" IROK with a 22Re and dual transfer case 2.8 and 4.7 with 4.10 rears. The front and read are both locked. Thanks

30 spline longs...

Toughest things out there right now..

Everyone is saying longfields but , why. I am thinking about stay with the 27 spline in case I do brake one . I don`t think that two many people carry 30 spine axles.

IMO, yer odds of breaking a 30 are about zero....

my 30's are shipping out now, changed from the 27-spline Longs and the PIG inners I had in there....

You won't break one.

the bellfields are very good as well. when i had my buggy i broke a newfield and two profields then ran bells and had great luck with them....lots of comp guys were running the bells as well. but i'd agree that the new 30sp longs are about as good as they get

30-spline longs
then
27-spline longs
then
Bellfields
then everything else.

I've been running 30 splines in my runner for about 6 months now and I'm very liberal with the stupid pedal to say the least. You would really have to try to be harder on your stuff than I am and mine have laughed at everything i've thrown at them.

this running gear is in a landcruiser fj40. I run alot of black and red trails .

Without a doubt go with 30 spline longs! I have broken everything else out there! 85 xcab, 42" cut swampers, 244.1 crawl ratio, caged, HEAVY right foot! no problems with the 30 splines!

No We Never Tested A Newfield At The Sema Show. Yes They Are A Good Birfield Also, The Differents Is Our Birfs Are The Only One With The 300m Inner Race Witch Is Stronger Than Chromoly And Will Wear Longer. And We Have A Lifetime Warranty Against Brakeage No Questions Ask.:)

longs, of course

Bobby Longfield's For The Win. Don't get BBS (Broken Birfeild Syndrome) -

For the Record- I came up with that slogan for him!!! :grinpimp:
