Hey guys I know that there are at least a couple of you out there like me whose rig did not come with a windshield washer setup. My question is for those who have their washer nozzles on the hood, exactly where are they? How far are they from the windshield. I got the kit from CCOT which I upgraded with some OEM hose and a better nozzle heads but where on the hood do they go? The last thing that I want to do is drill holes in my hood, place them too far away and have the streams over shoot or too close and have the streams shoot too low. Measurements would be great. Thanks,
John

it should be a single nozzle if you are talking about a 40 series, the newer years the squirters were at the the top of the windshield frame the hose is routed through the cavity of the frame and down through the dash,on my BJ42 the hose came loose inside the frame so I installed the hood nozzle ,my hood had a phony nozzle in the hood which I replaced with a working one.

Hope this helps measured from edge of hood

Now we're cookin'! Ok just to be crystal clear because we are talking about cutting holes in stuff, that is 10 3/4 inches from the edge of the hood closest to the windshield correct?

Well mine didn't come with a dummy nozzle on the hood. Neither is there any pre-cut spot above the windshield for it so either way I figured that I'd be cutting into metal in order to do this install. I had an idea that I wanted two spreyers and it seems that the guys in this thread had the same idea.

As you can see some guys teed the water line so they got a stream from the hood and the windshield. Some just dropped two onto the hood. They say that the pump in the CCOT kit is strong enough to handle both streams so I decided to drop two very clean looking spray nozzles from a 100 series very discretely onto the hood.

volcano.. can you please post a pic and or give more explanation on the better nozzle sprayers you are using.. i am looking for good looking after market sprayers.. and my hood is an older style hood so there are 2 holes already in it for 2 sprayers.

I went to the Toyota dealership to buy the ET style nozzle, p/n 85035-60050. The parts guy did a look up and there were no more in the country, which equals a 45 day wait. I asked him to lookup the same part from the 100 series. The 100 series p/n is 85381-12050. The difference is is a black, lower profile head. In the thread that I posted above there is a pic of a yellow cruiser with newly mounted nozzles. The 100 series nozzles look very similar to those. I can post a pic tommorow.
