The VCV that clips under the air cleaner is postion 23275 on the attached drawing (near the top of the page). The two opposite side ports are supposed to be joined together with a Tee and the third leg of the tee goes to one of the two ports on the distributor. The other side port is connected to manifold vacuum via the piping manifold. The top port is connected to a port on the air cleaner.

There are pic's in this thread: https://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-wagons/102463-mystery-lines.html

There is another pic in this post. It shows the correct connection to the distributor cap, but the vacuum hose that comes of the top of the VCV is connected to the wrong port on the air cleaner. It should go to the port that comes off the top of the air cleaner. IH8MUD.com Forum - View Single Post - Emissions failure!

ok....soooo... let me get this straight... I think I got it.... Add the tee and call it a day?

Were do I get the tee at?
Can I just use any tee? say from them home water filtration systems?

Yeah, there is nothing special about the tee. If you're going to use plastic it might be better to get it at an auto parts store. You want plastic that is oil & gas tolerant and has a reasonably high melting temperature.
