I wanna go...supposed to be cool and rainy-ish on Monday. I haven't been to Montana Mt in like 3-1/2 or 4 years. Went with Whipp and Wild Bill.

Couple of years ago I ran that, but when we were southbound on FR 650 back towards Superior, we headed west up onto some finger shaped trails that are visible from up on Montana trail. Wandered around and ended up coming out on FR 8 near Queen Station, just east of Hewitt canyon entrance. Just a fun roller coaster type trail.

think they have replaced the blue liquid in the water gauge by now ? :hhmm:

I want to go :steer:
As long as I still have my new Cruiser. :D
And as long as I can run the trail in Stock form, with no body damage

New Cruiser please tell.....

Montana Mountain would be a stocker friendly trail but it will be warm.

Back way up Mt Ord:idea:

Found a nice 97 white with grey, over all.. very nice, 316,000 miles, but seems to run fine, pulls hard, and no weard noises. now alls I need is to find another 6" lift, 40" tires, wheels, and not allow it to get stripped. But first, the place I bought it from is fighting the bank, (they said ok with out looking at the miles) and now it seems to be a problem, but the guy let me take it home anyways. sooo.....
If they let me keep her, ill have a new project. If not, then ill keep looking for another white, with grey leather cruiser + lockers. for a good deal

Nice! I DO have a thing for 97's that are white over gray?!?!

I walked down the south side of Mt Ord tuesday and today I am feeling the body damage...

Can you expand on that?

I am working on a project to rebuild the power line that feeds the towers at the top of the mountain, so part of my job entails doing a "site visit" this was the second time I have walked down the mountain. There is no way to get a vehicle on the route we walked. There is a trail that cuts from 87 over to punkin center, Reno pass road, also known as fr524. The section of road from Punkin Center to cloudburst canyon is in pretty good shape.
