True. There is a guy in the 80 series section who swapped a new 79-series ute cab and bed onto an 80 frame. Looked fantastic when he was done.or... body panels.

I'd refer to it as the "soft" look. I prefer the old "squared off" look myself.Yes there are a few, some call it the prado look
As mentioned above, it is possible to change the front end of an older 70 Series with the newer model panels.
Two welded washers on the firewall and two new body mounts up front are the extent of it.
I've new fenders, radiator support, and hood if anyone wants to have a go at it.
