More airbags, skid control, 5 star crash rating and WE STILL CAN'T BUY ONE HERE!!!!!:bang::deadhorse::bang:

It doesn't matter a bit to me.......I'd sell a kidney...:rimshot:

Just for reference sake the 1HZ basic it's 50K and the one with rear discs, winch, snorkel and lockers ( power locks and windows ) it's about 64K for the HZJ76 model ..

If they all looked this good. :)

Screw the looks - it's the 4.5L V8 TDI that's under the 'looks' that would be nice to have here in the US...

Two welded washers on the firewall and two new body mounts up front are the extent of it.

I've new fenders, radiator support, and hood if anyone wants to have a go at it.

Sounds like that is the stopgap -- get a 70 have fun with it then facelift it with body panels until the real thing is available here. Annoying that Toyota didn't sell it here.

Hmmmmm, A leaf-sprung Wide Nose.......:hmm:

Coilover sprung.....but 'narrow nose' may better describe, considering the overhang of 40x14x17s....

Annoying that Toyota didn't sell it here.

Purchased conversion components from a local Toyota outlet, before purchasing a complete body from CDan, explaining the unnecessary inventory I'd like to liquidate.

One could source a PZJ wagon from Joe K (he's a righty in inventory now, the only reason I haven't furthered the insanity with this 'project'), pull five wires and swap an HZ in, then convert to the wide nose.......essentially flipping Mr. T a larger middle finger.
