What winch to get?

Buy the harbor freight. It's a great winch at a great price.

I would go with a Warn and put a synthetic rope on it. I originally had a superwinch which was fine until the motor went out 1 week after the warranty expired. They refused to help out in any way. I have had zero issues with my Warn

My LC came with a smittybilt XRC10 winch. Its 10,000lbs with a 5.5hp motor. I havent tested it out or anything yet. Next time i go on the trails i was gonna hook it all up to make sure it works and start to familiarize myself with it. They are like $400 new i believe.
