Hello All,
I am wondering what voltage system is do have on this 1980(September) 24 voltage or 12 voltage, will be great if someone please post the link for complete wiring drawings.
Thanks All

Maybe some manuals free download here Land Cruiser Factory Service Manuals (FSMs) - https://www.cruisercult.com/factory-service-manuals
there is a diesel forum around here too for you to look in. Have you googled your rig?

Look at your headlight or taillight bulbs - should be marked 12/24 V. I would suspect 24 V for diesels - put in a good 12 V battery and hit the start button - maybe clicks or grunts then likely 24 easically if it has a place and terminals for 2 batteries
Thanks a lot for your reply and for link.

I'd say now is the time to decide if you are a purest or a practical person. Its way cheaper and easier to find and fix/eliminate stuff than get the often NLA genuine parts.

Start a log with part #'s photos, websites, and what you have done, it will save you lots of time later.

Are B's good engines? Are there parts for it? Figure out the answer before you put and money in it. The rest of the parts for the rig should be somewhat common.

These trucks were made in a few different configurations when they were new.
Since then, people messed with them for 40 years or so..

Search for Coolermans repository of wiring diagrams, and find the correct one for your truck - then try to figure out what changes were made over its lifetime.

Buy a multimeter if you don't have one - you'll be needing it.

If you have two batteries in series then you're at 24 volts (12+12). In parallel, or a single battery alone then you're at 12v.

If it's a model number BJ42LV-KCJK it is 24 Volts.
On rhe BJ42 looks like Canada was the only market getting 24 Volts.

Do show Canadian 8/80-10/81 FJ40 which are 12 volts using the same headlights and radios as the 24 volt BJ42s imported to Canada during the same time period
