I just had my engine rebuilt and I'm working out all the kinks now that i have it back. i have oil coming out of the block and i don't know what should be there. am i even supposed to have oil coming out of that hole? pics attached.

I believe that is a factory hole that comes loose in a rebuild. It is usually drilled and tapped. If I am wrong, someone will chime in.

That is a dreaded killer of F and 2F engines. No, oil should not be coming out of that hole. You can solve that problem by revoving that round plug and tap the hole for a pipe plug.

That "plug" that is leaking is susposed to be there..... but, they have been known to loosen up over time and come out wthout warning.....good thing you weren't headed down the highway......

Perfect time to find it. If it was just rebuilt it should be under warranty
