what kind of mileage do you get?

My stock FJ62 gets about 11mpg around town, 13-14 on the highway. Better than I had hoped for when I bought it!

14-17 mpg with a light foot and not running the eng. over 2500 rpms down the hwy

I drive an 82 60 2F modified with TBI and DUI distridutor. It sits on 33's at this point with stock gears, 3.83 I think. While 4.10's are in the works I have never gotten over 13 mpg and that was after the TBI changes on the highway, most of the time I felt really good getting 10.5 to 11.5 with carb running down the road. I keep it pretty loaded and the bumbers and winches arn't light but I don't think they can account for this kind of varrience in MPG maybe I should be looking closer at my engine and think about fresshening it up

ive got a 83 60 with desmog, stock exhaust manifold and weber progressive carb. i get 12 in town and just took a 500 mile trip to the beach and averaged 16.5 and thats with 33 super swamper trxus and stock gearing. :)

I've got an '87 FJ60 with Weber, headers, DUI dist and desmogged. I get around 13 around town and 17-18 on the highway. I've also installed some 31X10.5R15 T/A Radials. Just going to the larger tires gave me an extra MPG. I did have to figure out what the new distance travel was for the odometer though.

I had an '84 FJ60 that never got over 13 on the highway no matter what I added to the 2F.

I keep track of my mileage for every tank. I always fill up the tank and then reset the trip odometer. Then I multiply my correction for the larger tires to the miles (I use 1.1) then I divide the miles driven to the gallons I've just put in. Keeping track of the mileage on every tank has help me diagnose problems quickly.

What did the DUI distributor do for you? I did everything you did when I still had the 2F but I used a recurved stock distributor. My milage wasn't quite as good as yours, but it wasn't bad. I was turning 33" tires with 4.10 gears.

Desmog+all the armor+35's+great running 2F, I get around 14. Im curious what that will do when I go propane.

I think the DUI makes starting easier. I don't have to go through the "choke out pump the gas 10 times" to make it start any more. Though I made all of those changes at the same time so I can't say for certain. I still have stock gears.
