Which model/year vehicle is this?

Could be an emergency elk bugle call, if you needed it? :hillbilly:

My guess is that it would be a little squeelly. Maybe good cow call.

I also have a 97 LX, and I can tell you it needs to be plugged into the nipple on the lower left of the climate control panel, or it won't work properly. Looks like you're going back in.

ok...here I go. Dagnabit

He said "nipple"...............Beavis and Butthead

I thought that was for the breathalyzer option?

Looked like one of those devices long haul truckers use.

Interesting, my 97 LX does not have that (that I could see) maybe that's why my claimant control is messed up (hot to cold, cold to hot all the time).

That would be my guess. It goes (presumably) from the blower motor housing where the motor pulls a small vacuum on it to suck air in through that small grill on the lower left of the climate control panel. I also assume there is a thermistor there to measure cabin temp and regulate it accordingly. I bet you'll find it stuffed back there if you look around enough. It will probably solve your climate control problems, mine works like a champ.

It's a whirling tube whistle. Like what we used to get at the school fall festival as a prize.

Absolutely. That is my next mod project. I'm gonna get a bright blue climate control tube. Kewl Blue.
