Quite a difference in the core. I'd go with the one that has more surface area to dissipate heat, and it's clearly the TYC with thinner, longer rows.

Without a doubt, if you want plug and play Koyo C1917 three core.
I've perused this whole thread again, and I gather that all these radiators are for the 1FZ... Does anyone have a link/part# for a 3FE radiator? I've gotta replace mine ASAP.
I went a completely different route. I went with the Ron Davis Racing radiator ($900) and I am convinced that while I was going through my overheating hell (I'm at my absolute wits end- truck still overheating despite best efforts) that if I did not have this radiator installed to remove as much heat as it did, that I would have done some serious damage to my fresh motor rebuild.

My Koyo A1918 fit perfect looks Identical to OEM.
Was yours for a 3FE or 1FZ?
Buddy of mine runs a speed shop and had a customer that was upset his Camaro was overheating on quarter miles, wasn't running as cool as it could. Put in a Ron Davis and the thing still had problems. Switched to an OEM rad from Chevy and it cooled off. Just food for thought, before someone considers a $900 radiator any kind of a cure all to fix problems.
EDIT: It's also worth mentioning that this has happened to him with customers before. He is of the opinion that Ron Davis rads aren't all they're cracked up to be.
If I had a standard radiator while I was going through my issues I'd be either rebuilding again or driving a 100.
Lots and lots of Googling has told me that CSF2709 should be the fit for 91-92, but $300 is a little more than I'd like. If I can't find anything cheaper that seems to hold up well I'll just have to bite that bullet.
