So I went to the website and I didnt see anything about land cruisers. Is this a "general" car club that has some land cruiser members? Im looking to join an active, semi local, TLC club. A club that does rides, camping trips, exploration and trail rides. Im not into beating up my rig but i enjoy using it for its intended purpase. I've seen some local rides in my area coming up and im not sure if its just a "pay-n-play" (wich is great) or if its an actual TLC Club. any info would be great.
fyi: im in central PA. State College area. About 45min from williamsport and lock haven area.

Beardy...

That website is for a classic car club, no affiliation.

We wheel every third Saturday, no charge, just park fees. Come on out! :steer:

Hey Beard,

If all goes well on the TLCA conference call tonight, we will be an OFFICIAL TLCA CHAPTER!

We are a new club- started in November. We have been having monthly rides on the third saturday of every month.

Details coming soon on how to join.

Thanks,
Andy
Thats great news!! Im going to be looking for more info on this from you guys. Like member ship fees, where home base is, and what we have planned.

so then the next meet is in may? And where are we going? Any links to past rides or trips i can view? Is their a facebook page? I saw thier Is a ride at raush creek coming up soon. The coal mine cruise. Is that it?

Scroll through the previous posts, there are multiple run posts with photos.

The Coal Mine Cruiser Classic is a great event put on by the Gotham City Land Cruisers club out of NY. You have to join the club to attend the meet, but it's worth doing.

Next run is May 16th, destination as yet determined. Probably Rausch Creek, or Maybe Anthracite...you should come on out. Last month we had elven rigs. Four 60 series, four eighty series, one 40, one FJ Cruiser, and a BJ74.

Beard,

This forum has as much of the details as any of us know for upcoming rides. We usually finalize what we are doing in the last few days before the monthly ride.

There really is no "home base" - we come from all over eastern PA - and even one from up toward Erie.

You are correct - Coal Mine is coming up in July and is held at Rausch Creek.

Andy don't forget about us long distance fellas coming out of NJ ;)

Keep an eye on this forum for details on the next club run, its always a good time with a good mixture and levels of truck capabilities from completely stock to triple locked on 35's. So far we havent had any dedicated crawlers out with the club, most folks rigs are built up daily drivers. Come on out and have some fun.

Welcome from your neighbor in Mifflin County. I'm new as well but can tell you there are a great group of folks here! If you ever want to meet up, let me know. I'll probably be heading back into the 7 Mtns to explore more soon and I'd like to make it over to Rock Run in Patton to check that out.

I'm going to take you up on that. I've been thru 7mountains but didn't know they had trails to explore. I've been to rock run. Real nice place but mostly set up for ATV's.

I haven't been to Rock Run. My in-laws go quite often and mentioned that they are opening up more trails to vehicles? I don't know the condition of the trails, only looked at their trail maps. There are a lot of trails in Bald Eagle state park. Some are tight and rocky but not difficult. I'd be happy to meet up some weekend. Although I'm pretty busy the next month with commitments. That's a sweet looking LC you have. Looks like you got a steel on it!

Hey you guys should hit me up I live in Williamsport and have a 1996 LX450. Not too many cruisers around here

Hey Zach,

Join up, no yearly fees...Keystone Cruisers Club Membership Info

We wheel on the third Saturday of every other month. Next run is scheduled for December 19.

We either go to Anthracite, which is about an hour from Williamsport, or Rausch Creek, about hour and a half.

Come on out and wheel with us!

Anthracite Outdoor Adventure Area > Home

Rausch Creek Off-Road Park

Wow you guys are surprisingly active! That's awesome I'm definitely going to join up!
I was just down at A&A Auto in Williamsport and saw the plaques hanging on the wall. Pretty cool.

Ahhhhhh ok then lol. Well they're a good shop 4x4 equipment, parts, lifts, anything so I just figured.

I just joined up with TLCA and sent my Keystone App along with my membership fee. Anything else I need to do? @Crusha

Come on out and wheel with us! Our next official club run will be December, 19th.

However, I'm pretty sure I'll be hitting Rausch or Anthracite before that date. I'll post a thread if I do.
I'm thinking about heading out the last weekend of November to one of the two if your interested.
