This popped up in my inbox from Cars and Bids a little earlier.
1995 Toyota Land Cruiser - JDM 80-Series With FlexDream FJ60 Body Kit, 4WD, Triple Locking Differentials, U.S. Title - https://carsandbids.com/auctions/3R58zXxp/1995-toyota-land-cruiser?utm_source=listing_alert&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=button
It's not simply a 60 series body on an 80 series chassis, it's sort of a hybrid apparently. Didn't really see anything conclusive about importing these kits as was teased in an earlier thread here a few years back:
60 Series Retro Front End Kits for 80 Series - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/60-series-retro-front-end-kits-for-80-series.997691/#top

Anyone know anymore about this IMO rather handsome mashup? I've never much liked the 60 series styling, as I owned a FJ55 when they came out, but this is much easier on the eye. I'm guessing it's all 80 series mechanically?

Check this out. It’s some California organization I do believe?

We had a RHD one in the shop this summer; imported from Japan. It had the whole kit they supposedly offer as a service over there, interior, suspension, and all. It seemed to be put together well. It was a mind trip walking up from behind it and then around to the front.

They are a old Japanese company with a new branch in California.
That's a good thing for folks in Cali. So often they get left out of cool stuff because of things needing to be Cali compliant.

So they reverted it to leaf springs? Not sure I'd want to go that far given there is so much good with the 80 series suspension.

No. It was all 80 series other than the front fenders/hood/grill/lights. All built out of fiberglass. The customer was deployed in Okinawa and bought it there and had it imported stateside. According to him there was a shop there that did all these conversions. I don't recall the name. I will try to dig up some pictures.
