Working on getting my @amaurer gauges into Rhonda. My OCD made me get rid of the original black and red wiring for a more colorful stock look. And I painted the needles fluorescent red again.

dumb question but does the Radar cruise still work with aftermarket? For some unknown reason that question popped into my head this morning on my commute, which was before i even saw this post! My cousin works for a car insurance co and we were discussing calibration of the radar cruise after a bumper swap.

Radar cruise works fine-it shoots through the sombrero. Front camera loses part of its view at the bottom, but parking sensors, headlight washers, and fog lights all operate as before. Lots of plumbing and wiring for all that stuff.

Rims painted and new shoes on.

Anyone know of a good radiator repair shop in town? Google shows ORR and radiator depot here locally.

I've used Orr a couple times. Most recently about 3 weeks ago he saved the Courier radiator. I had purchased a replacement elsewhere that when it came in was not "exactly" correct, and had been poorly rebuilt. (painted over rust and dirt) I returned it, and for about the same cost Orr was able to tank it and rod out the core saving the original. A replacement core would have cost me double, but I would have preferred it over the junk I had to return to the other store.

I've used Able Automotive downtown for my classic cars. I've had very good service from them. Have done 4-5 vehicles with them.

I've also heard lots of people using Orr.

Second ORR. He did my heater core this winter

Did the radiator hoses, a couple of heater hoses (including the PHH) and a flush and full of the coolant on our 96 LX450. Also replaced the front diff lock actuator, meaning she’s officially triple locked again!

Recently placed the power brake booster and master cylinder. Followed by replacing the heater hoses and the heater control valve (bypassed rear heater). Then today I replaced the bearing and seal in the rear output tail housing on the transfer case.

Guess i need to follow up. Got it running, loose wire on the front of the motor was hitting the crank pulley and rubbed thru. Driving the crude out of it now to figure out my plan. other than replace every suspension bushing as they need it. Ice cold a/c. The kids(usually sweeting in the back of my 80 or Subaru Outback) are cold and want the windows down. Guess I need to turn down the rear a/c.

De-grained the dash -wood grain stickers.

de-flared and LED’d.... much better.

Replaced the bearing in my AC compressor. Wondering if I should see what I can only assume is freon in the clutch area? It's not so much that it's leaking out, but I'm guessing it should be zero.
