Glad you took a picture of the top of that cabinet. I have no idea what color my workbench tops are. Have not seen them in years.

That's funny right there Kelly.. I feel the same way.. if it's flat it's covered in crap.

Washed most of SMORR off. Doors on for Fall.

Reinstalled the throttle body. Everything seems to work fine. Spent two hours cutting and hammering my bumper off. Broke two saws all blades. The frame horns were bent up and towards the drivers side. Had to cut them and hammer them back close to straight and weld them back up. Fixed some broken welds in the bumper. It looks better, but it still is pointed slightly at the sky.

pulled the transfer case to replace the front output bearing and seal. What a PITA for a seal. Had to make a longer gear puller to disassemble the output shaft. Got it all apart now. Hope to get it back together this week.

Alex, larger turbo for the 1HDT?

Found this ugly mess on my 100
Tons of slip surprised it hasn’t stripped out. Same way on both sides.

Girlftiend’s 4runner had a sudden vibration that was pretty violent at highway speeds. After a quick spin on the interstate, noticed two things: 1. Pulled right under moderate braking (enough to switch lanes) and 2. The vibration was heat sensitive.

Got underneath and noticed the CV is a bit wiggly but didn’t think that was the source of my issues (see #2). The vibration felt a lot like her warped rotors do under breaking (see #2) so replaced caliper first. Replaced caliper this morning on driver’s side and she noted the vibration gone.

CV should be done but it can wait until after day.

So what did you find behind there?
About to dive in, pulled the front end out of my parts 100series and rebuilt everything so parts are ready to go. I assumed the worst and put the cap back on with some grease to slow it down.
