How did your new parking sensors work out? Functioning now?Had to replace one of the TJM headlight washers. It was slow leaking out of the nozzles. Bought a 5 pack, hopefully its not a repeat issue.
No, they've been on the back burner.I got them mounted. The passenger is working perfectly, the drivers has an intermittent ghost that I need to track down. It is almost like the sensor is not protruding forward enough and is catching the edge of the bezel. Might swap it out.
Did you get your working?
I bought my rig new in 2013, went to hook up a trailer about month later and no plug, brought it back to Toyota and they told me that they add those at the port when they come in and sometimes they forget to put them on. They ordered and slapped it on mine, seemed a bit weird, they sometimes forget![]()
That's my experience as well. My plug and hitch were in a box in the back and I installed them myself. It's pretty straight-forward to install. The hardest part was finding the correct mounting bolts, which were not a part of the plug kit. It's also one of the oddest locations for the plug I've ever seen.As far as I'm aware, the towing plug/harness and ball mount hitch come in the back of the vehicle in a box, and it is up to the dealer/owner to install them.
I agree on the location. I don't understand why it isn't tucked up and protected better. I shattered mine and bent the mount on a rock the other day. Took a chunk out of the spare wheel as well.T That's my experience as well. My plug and hitch were in a box in the back and I installed them myself. It's pretty straight-forward to install.
