I built a 1/2 side sleep platform.
25" wide. 42" long. The front legs are an inch and a half longer than the rear legs to fill in the drop space upfront and be level. Total height is 11.5" throw an exped mattress in as needed. Decent amount of storage space underneath as well.

Might be a bit late for you, but for anyone else wanting the same setup... Check out Roll-a-cot cots: Green Polyester Longhorn Roll-a-Cot® (79"L x 32"W x 15"H) with sleeve for your air mattress - https://www.camptime.com/collections/cots/products/green-longhorn-lw-roll-a-cot-79x32x15

Fantastic cots with a very nice structural design. No middle support/leg, meaning you can put this right overtop of the wheel well in the cargo area.

Where did you get the lenses from?

How bad was getting the old lenses off?
I first bought a pair of Amazon, total scam, avoid! The ones on the car I got off Ebay for ~$95

Horrific! With my car being a 2009 I had to bake the lenses for about 2x the suggested length and cleanup of the channels was vicious. I did not get them nearly clean enough. As such, putting the new lenses back in, its not a tight of a seal all the way around, and this shows minorly with gaps on the fender panels now that they are back on the car. Not enough for me to undo/redo. They should still be sealed well and not have any dust/water issues.

Interesting! Got pics of this setup?

I dropped the Cruiser off this morning for a few things… Kings, diffs, cam tab gussets, and ball joints.

Spent an hour and a half replacing a driver's side front wheel bearing assembly. I had an odd vibration and noise that would start around 47mph, turning to the left at speed took pressure off of the drivers side and the vibration and noise lessened. Not a hard job, and I had extra parts (lug studs, axle nut, cotter pin) just in case.

Yup. Time and money well spent for an unmatched family adventure vehicle. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

@TeCKis300 I looked over some of your old threads and wow! That is fantastic suspension/AHC fabrication work and your results are amazing. While I've recently removed all of my mods for my sensor lift, after seeing your truck, the squirrel cage in my head is moving again - maybe I will order and install the E&E rear shock extenders, some rear spring spacers, and the front 10mm toyota spacers I have, to see if I can go back to a sensor lift, but adjust it to stock pressures, since I really like the stock feel, especially with my 275/70r18 e-load wheels.

Appreciate it. Like many of us here, it's hard to leave stuff alone. Must tinker!

Ditched the new K03’s they couldn’t manage to balance after 3 tries and back to Toyo’s. Store gave me a bunch of excuses saying my truck was too light for e-loads…yada yada… I explained it wasn’t the ride I was complaining about, it was the balance. And they’d put E-load Toyo’s on my last 200 just fine. When I said to switch to Toyos they tried to tell me they couldn’t guarantee the balance. I “nicely” had to explain to them how it was gonna go and that they were going to get me the new balanced tires I’d paid for- sooner or later, not their call as to if, just when.

When I picked it up with the Toyo’s a desk guy who I hadn’t talked with before said- “yeah we’ve been getting about half the K03’s back. It ain’t you.”

Content now, but wasted time and trips & they burnt a customer.

HALF?!? Wow.

I have sold about 20 sets of KO3 this year with zero complaints. Zero.

True that I trust the shop way less than I’d trust BFG. But it was not good, and I swear their efforts made it worse. I went to another place with the latest Hunter machine and he tried but after said to just get them returned as all of them were just taking too much weight to balance.

And somehow magically they balanced these AT3’s just fine.

I have had good luck with several sets of AT3s on various trucks. I tried K02s once and now K03s and they just don't balance well. The K02s were so bad, I returned them... these K03s are just slightly off after multiple attempts. I regret not fighting Discount Tire on it.

My laughing point is “the truck is too light” 🤣

I’m happy to report that my cam tab issues are resolved and the Kings look great. Ride home was hampered by the gear break but there is a definite improvement on the ride. I can use 7th gear now without needing to be 70+ on the interstate. I should have the break in done by the end of this week, I’ll do some short towing with the camper after that. We gotta get back in the woods soon, it’s been a few weeks and I’m getting antsy.

Spent some time yesterday and today fixing paint chips on my hood with Dr. Colorchip. There are about a dozen chips on my magnetic gray LC - some of them very small, and others much larger i.e. nearly the size of a pea.

I've gotten a few of the chips almost perfectly level with the rest of the hood's paint (success!). A handful of others (the deeper and bigger chips) still need more work, but at least for now they have color in them so they look 100x better than before. I'll probably do another layer each day over the course of the next week until I hopefully get them all built up enough to be nearly flush with the surrounding paint. This is a pretty easy little project, but it does require some patience. Overall though I'm pleased with how it's going so far.
