Make sure not to roll the coolant pipe o-ring. Lube it with coolant before you place the timing cover.

I am not doing the work but these guys have done a bunch of these 3URs. Appreciate the tip though.

I don’t have a problem, I can stop anytime.

Added an LX570 to the fleet for my sweety.

Disclaimer...this was two weeks ago ;)

Finally pin-striped the ever-living crap out of it (that branch got me good) taking some trails to Louis Lake near South Pass City, WY. Also had some quality time camping in the Badlands on the way out from Virginia, up north/northeast of Lander along a ridge, and outside of South Pass City before we spent a week at our friends' rental. Next time we're out there it'll be to monitor construction on the new house! :bounce2:

GREAT drone shots!

Do you have a loiter/follow function? I’m a lowly dji newbie.

Thank ya, kindly.

And, yes. When I'm vehicle-bound, or going for big shots at altitude, I use a DJI Mavic 3 Pro. It has the ability to follow which I use a lot for filming for our YouTube channel. When I'm hiking (or don't feel like breaking out the Mavic) I use DJI's Mini 4 Pro and its built-in tracking as well. I also have their Avata 2 FPV drone. Admittedly I have yet to incorporate that into any work, mainly because it's just one more piece of equipment I don't feel like packing. But MAN is it fun to fly!

Hit 190k miles today! On pace for 200k by the end of the year.

Also working on a 3D printed center console organizer. I have the stock one that you can get when you don’t have the cooler box. But I have a magnetic pistol mount in the bottom that I would like easier access to. So trying to create an organizer that’s only 1/2-2/3 of the opening so I can reach all the way down and grab it as opposed to having to completely take that organizer out. Once I have the project complete I’ll post photos and likely share the file for any of those wanting something similar.

A couple have seen it, but I just went to 37s...
I hope there's time to make it turn again before COTRockies. 🤦‍♂️

Yet another SW Colorado trip, this the first one with the EcoFlow Delta 3 and their alternator charger. Some setup issues to figure out which resulted in the fridge shutting off a couple times, but I didn’t get sick from any of the food so no harm done?

I had the opportunity to grab this on red mountain pass..

TPMS light was a result of a 1” tear in the middle of the tread of a Defender LTX.. which resulted in learning they are now discontinued. Didn’t seem like it should have torn in that terrain, but I wasn’t aired down properly either.

Ecoflow setup. I don’t have drawers and remove the second row for my trips.

Wait til you try FPV, if you haven’t already.

You might try Costco and see if they can order one (or two) for you. Same with Discount/Tire Rack and other places. Probably quite a few still around.

And this is the exact reason I switched mine within the Michelin happiness guarantee period. I knew at some point, probably too soon, that I would have to try to find a replacement.

Discount is who reported it discontinued. That’s who the road hazard coverage is through anyway.

The other odd thing is they said Michelin didn’t make the M/S2 in 285/60R18.. when I showed them that configuration on the Tire Rack website the store manager said Michelin must be making it specifically for them. Ultimately it could be ordered but you won’t find one sitting in a warehouse if you’re in the middle of a trip and need it.

But yah that’s probably what I’ll do is just toss a M/S2 on there, which will be almost zero cost with the road hazard, then when I replace the other four put it into the rotation. I know these things wear like iron but I don’t see that one aging out with how many miles I accrue per year.

That plan kills my option to go to 285/65 with the next set however. Not so sure I was convinced to do that anyway. I really appreciate the available torque with stock sized/weight rubber.

I will say this.. other than that one failure I have zero complaints about these tires for my use case. Michelin living up to the hype for me.

Edit: I’ll have to look into the happiness guarantee thing.

Welcome to the club! Neighborhood looked familiar. I used to live next to your subdivision on CRidge. I saw your lifted Tundra with white wheels a lot. I have a white 200 LC.
Small world. I’m sure I’ve seen you around. I’ve probably only seen 4 or 5 200’s around here since I’ve bought this thing so I’m always excited whenever I see another one

We've got your back. A promise of this magnitude can only come from Michelin.
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your Michelin replacement passenger or light truck tires so they are backed by the Michelin Promise Plan™. The Michelin Promise Plan™ includes the following benefits: 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee, Roadside Assistance, Manufacturer's Limited Warranty & Treadwear Warranty.

10th oil change since I've had the truck. Rear diff fluid for the 2nd time. Didn't get to the front diff and t case in time before the wife and kids informed me that I was done for the day lol. I'll knock those out next, then its time for spark plugs.

The stuff I use is sold in concentrate by my detailer but many different brands have their own version. Adam’s, ONR, Griot’s, etc. it’s basically a spray full of surfactant chemicals that emulsify the dirt on your paint then allow you to wipe it off with a clean microfiber towel. Short of full on mud it works great. I haven’t hose washed the truck in months.
Can you tell me more about this "waterless wash" thing you speak of?

Made another purely cosmetic change that may not be everyone’s cuppa. Replaced the grille on my 21. I saw this grille on a pic of a ME spec 200 series and loved the look. I fortunately found a kind soul in Malaysia who had replaced that same grille on his own 200 and offered it to me for the cost of shipping. Only other grille I’ve seen that I prefer is the HE, and that’s a lot more expensive than I’m willing to pay.

Nice ride. If you don’t mind me asking. What tires and rims do you have on there?
