As @dudemancool1904 said.. it's the Universal mount, 3" diameter. It's a halon extinguisher (probably only sold for aviation use now) as they are environmentally unfriendly other than the best solution to put out fire. Many less ozone depleting options now as he said. First reason for an ext. is to aid you escape from a burning vehicle, secound is to aid someone else with say a brake fire. They are not to open the hood and fire your own fire, you risk a flare burn and probably couldn't put it out anyways. Halon works by displacing oxygen and cooling the fire, it leaves zero mess after. Typical dry powder extinguishers work by cooling fire, they do not completely smother and the leave a corrosive mess afterwards that will total your car worse than the fire.Thanks!
