Curious if there were issues. My 18' has 95k miles and just curious if this is being done for preventive or corrective issues.

I'm at 107,000 miles, and it started developing the inevitable radiator crack (for all 200 series built before mid-2018) back at around 80,000 miles. So even though the crack had been progressing slowly, I had the parts in my garage from a big sale a couple years ago and felt it was finally time to install. All the additional parts I replaced were entirely preventative work, done "while I was in there" since they're infinitely easier to do when the radiator is already out.
Installed the ICON 3.0 along with Nitro UCA’s…no bueno, making contact with the hose fittings, fiddled with clocking them for a while to gain clearance, no dice. Ordered some ICON billet UCA this morning to replace with later this week. Nothing like pushing it to the last minute, we head out for CO summer on Saturday and I’ll be lucky to get the UCA’s by Friday afternoon. Solid planning
Added a little Heritage grill badge, feeling cute, might remove later. Had to rig up a little mounting plate for it to work.

Massachusetts is a two license plate state and my new used LX 570 came from Georgia (a one plate state) with no front license plate bracket. I had temporarily zip-tied a bracket to the front grille.
Today I replaced that with a no-drill front license plate bracket from Slybracket https://www.slybrackets.com/store/S...WITH-HORIZONTAL-SLATS-LOWER-GRILLE-p297360045
It is a pretty neat system and actually had clear instructions with lots of pictures. The hardware all seemed high quality. The mount does flex a fair bit, as it is just held onto the grille slat with spring tension, so I’m a bit concerned about how it will hold up to a car wash. I guess there is only one way to find out.

Cool find on the Kaon battery tie down. They make some innovative stuff. Did you buy directly from them or someplace stateside?
Yikes, good catch on the leaky axle. That dust shield looks pretty mangled.
Bought direct, took about 10 days to get get stateside.

It looks like you installed that battery fuse bracket in place of the OEM battery hold down instead of on top of it - if so, your battery will turn into a missile going forward in any kind of front end impact.
Here's the pertinent instructions from the Kaon Installation Guide:
The Kaon part is simply providing a convenient mounting area on top of the battery, it is not meant to replace the factory battery tie-down.

When I bought mine I thought it was a replacement part, but then when I noticed there was no front lip to retain the battery, I broke down and read the instructions... I almost never do that.

running out of storage space so I decided to get my TRD pro tundra take offs mounted. Life is a little crazy right now so I just opted to swap over the practically new G056’s and run them in the interim. Have a trip planned to Reno later this year, will probably stop at Tire Rack and get a new set. For now I am super happy with how they look, even with silver lugs.
Installed 3000K LED bulbs in the fog lamps. Sealight brand in size H11.
Previous owner installed 6000K bulbs, but the beam pattern was more like a floodlight than a fog lamp.
For reference, the low beams are 6000K.
LED bulbs are plug & play without issues or error message.

Knocked out some 1 banana jobs in the new to us 2019...
Added new oem carpet floor mats.
New cabin and engine air filters. Cabin recirc door not broken, yay!
Removed bad windshield trim and replaced along with new clips, turned out perfect.
Added rain sensor gel pad to sensor, auto wipers work now.
Picked up some cheap ir headphone for the rear seat screens.

Drove solo to the end of the world-- Cape Spear, Newfoundland. As far east as you can drive in North America.

As I was in line waiting to board the ferry from Nova Scotia to Newfoundland, I spied an 80 a few cars up. With the "ZA" sticker and international plate, I figured this truck had a few stories to tell.
As luck would have it, the ferry was delayed and I got a chance to meet the owner of the 80. As I was introducing myself I mentioned that I was from Kansas City. The driver of the 80 asked, "That's in Missouri, right?" I thought that was some esoteric geography knowledge for someone from Nova Scotia. "I bought this truck in Springfield, MO!" Turns out this 80 had passed through the hands of @Ozark cruiser during its journey from South Africa to Nova Scotia! Small world!

ran a trail this morning and crunched up the drivers side running board on some rocks. Time for an upgrade!!
Love this. I’m also following Great White Roamer and the itch for a cross continent drive is getting bigger by the day!
