+1 on the covers. Also interesting your seatbelts aren’t color matched to the headliner?

OEM Toyota part #: 0826360030C0

Apparently they were an option for the 200 series overseas. Can be found on eBay for around $110-$120.

As for the color of the seatbelts, I’m not sure. I purchased the car this way.
Especially nice that they have built-in pockets, too!

Not able to find that part number on any Toyota parts catalogs. Was able to find it on Partsouq, but not available. Cool find nevertheless!

Since when do you have the X-ATs? Im gonna need the inside scoop on that and moar pics.
I’ve had them for close to a month now. Liking them so far! Haven’t taken them in the dirt or any inclement weather yet though so the jury is still out. Love my geolander MT’s on my taco though so hopefully these live up to the hype.

Nice choice man. How do they sound if i may ask? Dry pavement handling good? Shoulder roll rigidity vs the MTs?
No feedback like apples to apples LX feedback.

Sorry lol thanks.

Another small uneventful update as part of my continued diy 200k maintenance, swapped in a new oem air filter, cleaned MAF sensor, and swapped in a new oem cabin filter on the LX.

Not sure if oem filters are worth the coin but the parts people suggested the non-oem ones don’t fit well…. I didn’t want to look like a cheap-ass so I sprung for them. I don’t know why I even asked them, surely the answer would be but oem by default.

While cleaning the maf sensor I was not surprised to see some oil and grime on the air tube before/after the throttle body. Probably not advised but used some maf sensor cleaner on the inside of the air tube where the oily stuff was and also hit the throttle body a little bit but that looked fairly clean.

Car still starts and airflow works so hopefully I didn’t f anything up on such an easy/routine maintenance

Is it blasphemy to cut up a perfectly good TT HWM?

What kind of mod are you doing to it? Looks like you've been using your LX!

There are certainly cheaper ways to get a plain winch mounting plate . . .

Right? I've definitely considered that path. Originally figured I'd get closer to drop in solution with key dimensions sorted, but the LX bumper is quite a bit different. Something I didn't realize until after I purchased the used mount which popped up for a good deal.

Just got back from the desert without washing. She'll clean up nice as she always does. Adding the winch but going to re-work the HWM to better fit the LX in my own way, but to also integrate back the wing part of the crash bar.

Went to Idyllwild and drove the San Jacinto Ridge Truck Trail. The snow and mud upped this “easy” trail a couple notches. Broke the factory running boards. 😢 but had a great time 😁 Met some awesome people in a 100 and a Land Rover.

Looks like I’m getting some sliders!!! Any suggestions?

Got my shiny prototype rear lower control arm skids mounted. Curtesy of @turbo8

Easy to install, light, and puts much more beef onto the lower control arms. Hadn't seen this style before. I'm not one for much armor but there's so little weight and no compromise here. Heavy gauge stainless steel and beautifully machined brackets - the design looks like a winner.
