I installed an ARB Summit Bumper. It took me about 15 hours over two days, and I'm still not 100% finished. But, I took my time and tried to make sure everything was just right. I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

Added Slee accessory bracket as a place to set my relocated winch control box. Initially I baulked at its price ($150) and was just going to DYI something but then just pulled the trigger as I need to get done with the mods/additions and decided time was worth it. After receiving it, I see why it costs what it does. Its a fabrication genre work of art. Heavy stainless steel, well thought out, and very simple to install. A lot of design, and I'm sure prototypes, went into this. Probably total overkill for anything I could imagine mounting on it. An aluminum version may have been a little less expensive but I doubt much. Weight might be a good reason to make it out of aluminum.

Of course the holes don't to align with the Warn control box mounting holes but drilling the holes I needed was easy.

Thanks for posting this. Not sure how I missed it on Slee's site before but it's just what I've been needing.

Oil Change, 5-30W. Fumato oil pan drain worked like a charm.
Also relocated the camera to the TJM bumper.
Got any pics of your camera relo. I did mine it a temporary manor that is turning into a permanent solution as I haven't come up with anything better yet.

Need more pics!! You on stock suspension?
I'll post some better ones once I get time to take good pics. The truck has the Bilstein 6112/5160 (2.25") lift.

You could've saved yourself several thousand by just buying a rig with 100k+ and doing all that. Follow what the maintenance schedule calls for (can be accessed on drivers.lexus.com) which I think outside of filters/engine oil is the AHC fluid and maybe transmission fluid. Everything else seems like a 120k+ service. That said If you want to replace your globes that early I'd gladly take the old ones lol.

Haha, I am a guy coming from owning Amg cars, maybe the habit of things broke prematurely still on,

btw my lx 570 is 2015 model year

Nothing wrong with baselining stuff 1-10, but from 11 and up I'd hold off until the book calls for it. There's a major difference here between Toyota/Lexus preventative maintenance and the MB world you came from lol.

Boring stuff: oil change, 5w-30 Kirkland (Costco), oem filter (always), LOVE Jowett's kit makes it a breeze. Installed missing 10mm nuts on radiator cooler line that I noticed while doing belt, pulleys and fan bracket assy job a while back. Left out when radiator was replaced by a, shocker, slacker mechanic <eyeroll>. Finished drilling out broken belly pan bolt, killed 3 drill bits in the process, re-tapped to 9mm x 1.00 (now I gotta find a suitable bolt as OEM is different), replaced worn/missing belly pan bolts, cabin filter.

Next up, dealing with the @#$% P2447 air pump code.

I also switched to the Kirkland 5-30w last oil change. So far so good, quieted down the valve train and no noticeable drop in MPGs. How long have you been using their oil?

This was my 3rd change with it, started at 170k, now at 181k, <1k into 3rd change. So far, so good. Quieter, for sure. Zero drop in MPGs also. I do notice it's pretty dark after 5K! I wouldn't want to run it much longer than that. Don't have any consumption issues that I know of, still in between the dots on the dipstick every time so far. Small sample size tho.

Thanks, good to know, I’ll keep with the 5k intervals.

Yes, this is an OCD list !

1,2,3,4,5,8,9. are fine. The rest you can do per service manual or wear or while doing other jobs. Then enjoy the ride!

Got my techstream/fsm kit put together. Surface pro 3 off eBay, techstream software+cable, fsm, stylus pens and a molle bag to store it all. I had difficulty finding a bag that worked, because the sp3 is much bigger than most tablets. I still need to get it modified slightly so I can mount it on a molle panel I have planned for the seatback. I’m pretty happy with this setup though.

I added dense foam to the face of the bracket for dampening. Framing bracket I found at home depot

I used to have lexus rx270 using it for 7years from 2015 Brand new until i sold it at 75k miles last week , other than usual maintenance (oil change, filter, etc) i have several issue such cooling fan died on 5th years and battery died every 3years. Also change some tierods and steer racks at 6th years. A week before selling it, the retainer/claps for the gas to engine fall down when i was in highway caused the car need to be towed.Simple issue but very concerning (this was the major caused of my wife asking new car)

so do you think lx570 2015 will 35k miles be much durable/reliable ?
