Slee brackets arrived today, I profit them, drilled holes and other modifications, now to send off for power coating to HE bronze.Started planning and parts purchasing for engine bay auxiliary LiFePO4 battery setup for a number of electrical loads. I've started with building fuse boxes, which would normally be simple as everyone goes the Redarc route; power, I just not happy going the with MEGA Fuses or even MIDI fuses. The MEGA with only a 2,000A short circuit interrupt will not cut off a short circuit with a Lithium battery as the power source. Lithium batteries are capable of pumping out loads of juice very quickly and a 2,000 Interrupting Capacity would not cut the flow, so after some experimentation I went with Blue Sea #5196 Fuse Blocks , these use MRBF (Marine Rated Battery Fuse) w/ 10,000A Interrupting Capacity and are not too large at a nominal 2" x 7.5" x 2.4" height each w/ cover on. The dual setup is exactly 4" wide.
As I needed 6 takeoffs from the Auxiliary I tried out a 50 mm terminal-to-terminal link bus bar (BEP #779-LBJ2-B) to join two fuse blocks in parallel; while concerned that I would not be able to remove the covers with the blocks butted together, it turned out to be no problem. Costs are very reasonable at $178 inclusive of 6 fuses for the Aux Blocks and $70 for the Main fitting only 2 fuses. I found the individual fuses for under $15, 30 to 300A.
Last photo shows intended placement on Main Batt. Bracket integral to the tie-down will need to be made for both batteries. I have not ordered the auxiliary LFP battery yet.

Slow progress on dual battery setup, but an update on direction. The dual MRBF fuse box setup fits on the Slee battery clamp, tapped base for some 5mm allen head machine screws, as no room for nuts underneath. Ditched the big fuse box for main battery with a simple 2-fuse block Blue Sea #2151 bolted to upgraded battery terminals.
