I had a similar experience on Christmas Eve several years ago. We were scheduled to leave early Christmas morning to drive to CO. I checked weather reports and found out I’d need chains on I-70. I called and found a parts store that had them and would be open for 20 more minutes. I rushed out of the garage only to find my wife’s van was not over as far as usual. $1000 worth of damage between the two vehicles, Merry Christmas!

We also learned that traveling on Christmas is really terrible if you don‘t bring your own food. No restaurants are open so it was gas station food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. That got old fast.

You’ll want these (M6 1.00 size) of whatever length suits you (I also used the aluminum spacers below)...

I got the Blackvue 900S-2ch for the front and rear, and the Blackvue 750S-2ch for the left and right sides. The battery is also Blackvue and integrates easily with the cams. The phone apps are easy to use and have more than enough settings.

Quality is SUPERB with the 900S including night and rain. 750 is a bit lower but still would be plenty enough for most drivers. We live in Denver, CO, which if you did not know, is a safe haven for the worst drivers in America and has the most aggressive and road-rage drivers in America. So this is why we got the 900S for front and rear, and why we have all 4 sides covered.

We were in an auto accident in April 2019 which influenced us to replace the totaled 2011 Subaru Outback with the LC.

I want to do a write-up for the forum soon with photos and advice, especially with my opinion if you are in an auto accident.

I’m interested in what about the accident prompted your move to the 200?

@Markuson is correct and you will need a m6 bolt with enough length to pass through the ball and allow you to stack up some washers or a sleeve spacer so it sticks out enough to be accessible

Finding a great price is not easy on these bad boys.
a local guy is advertising new take-offs from 2020 TRD tundra with the Michelins for $2200, when I sent him a lower offer he took it personal and sent a link showing they are over $2500 new. Good luck to him.

Slee MAIN battery tray joins Slee 2nd Battery Tray... Now just need dual battery wiring, etc.

The MAIN tray from Slee is incredibly secure...even though I opted NOT to bolt it from underneath. I'm convinced it's more secure than stock even with my minor work-around in avoiding removal of the wheel-well skirt pieces. I'll describe that if you're curious. Here it is installed... Obviously no dual wiring yet...

No holes/clips on my 2011. Seems it is hit or miss from what I could research so I just went for it and got lucky I guess.

If you look at the stock “battery tray” in the 200...it’s a thin, plastic piece only. If you clamp the battery down as normal (with the Slee clamps), that battery isn’t going anywhere and neither is the tray.

Not saying don’t bolt from underneath..., Just saying that if the stock battery is prevented from moving with the skinny stock clamp...it’s not gonna go anywhere with Slee’s huge clamp either.

Ps. It’s bolted now... but was unbolted (from underneath) for many months and never budged. The top clamp it hugely strong. Toyota not only didn’t attach from underneath, but barely gives it a “tray” at all. OEM “tray” is about at thick as a paper plate...literally.

Agreed. Having installed that tray in 2 trucks now, the bottom 3 bolts are waaay overkill and unnecessary. I would probably just install 2 of the bolts in the existing holes and call it good. No need to drill the 3rd hole.

Tried my hand at paint correction today with my new Griot's random orbital buffer. It works! Now that I know I can fix pinstripes, it's back to the trails.

Just installed brighter rear LED turn signals from Amazon. These are canbus, no hyperflash bulbs.

Light housing is attached by 2 10mm screws underneath plastic caps. There are 2 plastic post/stud clips that you have to pop out and then 2 channel clips that hold the housing flush with the quarter panel. Pop the 2 post clips and the housing slides right out.
