congrats on the install anthony. it sure is a great feeling when its all back together!!! As difficult as it was with no rust, I don't envy you at all cutting those bolts out and dealing with that mess.

We just did a 200 today. Totally stock and netted 50mm in the rear with OME2722 and that is in line with what we normally see.

We just did a 200 today. Totally stock and netted 50mm in the rear with OME2722 and that is in line with what we normally see.

What about 2720? I'm looking for about 35mm lift with stock-ish load.

Thanks to Amory and team @sleeoffroad for their solid work yesterday on my 2011. Had them install the OME lift with adjustable UCA and what a tremendous improvement! Great customer service before, during, and after the job - couldn't be happier.

I picked up the tires (BFG KO2 285/65/18) on a Black Friday deal and ran them a couple of weeks before the lift install was scheduled.

I must ask, if you care to share what the damage was $$$. I'm thinking about "scheduling a vacation" to CO to have Slee perform a very similar "upgrade" to my LC this holiday season.

What's your opinion with driving comfort on the ome vs stock now?

So far, based only on highway/city driving, very positive.

My poor-man's description:

I'd say it is 'crisp' instead of firm, stiff, or rigid as I have heard others describe it. It may just be semantics, but I feel that 'crisp' is a better, more positive reflection of the ride behavior I have seen so far.

Before the OME, the stock suspension still rode like a truck, but was also 'squishy' with body roll & lean through corners. It also seemed to hop a little more with the stock suspension, whether over washboards or irregular asphalt conditions. Nothing terrible mind you, just typical of a body-on-frame ride that I'm used from F150s and similar.

Now it rides much better, feels more stable, and I would definitely NOT have anything negative to associate with any increase in 'crispness' of the ride. Haven't had any 'hopping' to report in my <24 hrs of driving, but the ride from central Denver to Tech Center as notably enhanced with the OME upgrade. (OME can't fix traffic, however )

Still have yet to take it into the Rockies, but I expect improved characteristics there as well (as attributed to countless others already about the OME offroad improvements). I'm also expecting a much greater ride under load, and I expect to find that out in a few weeks for an upcoming ski trip with several adults, gear, and luggage.

In short, it seems that the OME suspension upgrade is something that I will certainly do if/when I have another future LC, and next time I won't wait as long to do it.

Not only will the OME ride better...but in my opinion, it's also SAFER...as it allows less body roll. My 100 felt a ZILLION times better with the OME upgrade.

I finally have my BP-51s in my possession...but I'm anxiously waiting on the front mounting kit (which was back-ordered...). Looking forward to a massive improvement.

Can't forget #bjowett He's been sending me test shocks for a year. If it were not for him we would not have figured out what does and doesn't work on the 200. He now has some really nice inexpensive solutions for the 200 that in my opinion are really good. I'm shipping my existing setup to Amir in Boston and I'm sure he'll report his opinions too.
If it were not for MUD I'd be in a........(insert your most hated SUV)

I haven't run OME standard.
I've only run Bilstein 4200s, Radflo 2.5s, Koni 90s, Bilstein 6112s and I tried Bilstein 5115s (for a 4 Runner) and 4200 ( for an 80) in the rear to try and match the 6112s.
I'm no expert.

Question for u... What made you decide to go with the 2720 rather than the 2721 (you had both, right)? Was the 21 too high? Too stiff? Curious, as I'm about to put the 21's on...as soon as I can get my hands on the pesky Front Install kit for my BP-51's...currently sitting in my garage due to that one...out-of-stock part(Grrrr!).

By the way... I can't stop staring at these BP-51's... I know it's silly...but I swear they are the best looking hardware ever. The build quality & precision they clearly put into them is obvious.
