The parts have all been assembled for the front end complete rebuild and BP51 install.
With one frozen adjustment cam bolt I didn't want to risk getting deep into this job without being fully prepared. Thanks @beno for putting all the Oem parts together and @sleeoffroad for the ARB/OME and the UCAs.
Hard to understand why Toyota doesn't use a little anti-seize on the parts. This is $1000 on top of the BP51s and UCAs.
More pics to follow when it's done.

Nice!

When do you plan to install?

What setup do you have on the rears?

Your cruiser is essentially the same as mine... Same wheels (my RW are stock color), tires...color...and I'm counting the days until I order my BP51 setup... :) So I'm especially curious to see how it goes.

BP51 with OME 7020 springs.
Installing on Tuesday.

What's up with LCA's. Just a re-fresh ?

One frozen adjustment bolt according to reputable alignment shop. Toyota dealer lies and tells me all is good. For my sanity I'm replacing everything, applying anti seize and know the truck is good for he next 10 years.
Wish there was an independent that could verify the corrosion problem since I have 5,000 left on warranty.
Warning to anyone in the north, remove the alignment cam bolts and apply anti seize. Check out the tundra forums. Major issue there. It's a non issue if you never do a lift and only need a tie rod adjustment but if you do a lift and need camber and caster adjusted your screwed.

Ok
Thanks

I drove past there yesterday. I had no idea there were trails to explore. Would you mind sharing details of where to access the trails?

These "trails" are the forest service roads in the Talladega National forest. This trip we just on 600-1 "Skyway Motorway", starting from HWY 148 in the souther part of TNF and ending at HWY 77. For some reason, Google has this road listed as County Road 6000-1.

You can continue on the Skyway Motorway using 600-2 which will take you up to Cheaha State Park and the highest point in Alabama.

There are lots of other service roads to explore. Most are old, rocky, rutted gravel roads and not much of a challenge, but it is good to be able to spend some time off pavement. I plan on spending a lot more time out here this winter.

The best map I have found is the USDA Forest Service map for the park (http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprdb5213098.pdf). I then match this up with what is in Google Maps.

If you are ever back in the area and want to go explore, I would love to tag along.

I have a date with Slee... 18 day countdown and my 200 will be forever changed. Santa is certainly in my corner this year...

Well heck... I was THRILLED today just to have finally ordered the full BP-51 setup from Slee. :)

What are you having done in 18 days?

Congrats! If I have to wait 18 long days ya'll have to wait 18 long days.... :)

All you guys so close to Slee make me jealous! If only I lived closer (and could borrow one of your checkbooks....)

If you google project 200 they show and explain the process. That's what I did.
Good job on yours though. pulling all that plastic apart on the rear hatch is fun isn't it.

Thanks. I only had to remove the top hatch plastic. Took about 30 seconds. I did not want to tear into the rest of the panels cause I have my drawers mounted back there. I had fun doing this one.

Oh lord. You had easy street

Installed some 275/70/18's Ko2's today. Love the look and fit perfectly with no rubbing. I will update once the BP-51's and ARB front bumper go on this next week :)

Heh. You're about where I am in the process. My BP-51s are being shipped...but I'm stuck waiting for the front install kit which was out of stock...

I have same tires as you, but RW wheels so 285/70/r17. Thinking will eventually go with a 34" Toyo...which should fit without major mod.

Will look forward to seeing images of your rig with BP-51s installed.

What rear coil spring are you installing?
