Half of the DT headers are on, MAF is cleaned, TB is cleaned, new O2 sensors, new air filter. Monday's plan is the other side of headers and DT cat back exhaust.

Replaced an UCA boot and washed and waxed her to get ready for Winter.

Good morning
Ordered the weather tech, and change the wiper blades, ready for winter

Fixed the window track on the drivers side door. I thought I read that a common problem was a few 10mm bolt get loose. So I opened up my door to see, but all the bolts were tight.

Turned out the bottom of the leading window track had some how broke off from the sheet metal of the door. Easy fix, just spot weld back in place, no more rattle when I close the door or go over bumps

Just had to pud new pads and rotors on the rear. I haven't driven the truck in a few weeks. (my wife takes it to work everyday, and i take public transportation) SO i go to drive to work this am with the wife, and feel a grinding in the break pedal. I ask her if she had noticed this. She says, "yea, its been doing it for weeks" i go "are you kidding me". Apparently we have had stuck calipers for a few weeks, thus no pads, metal to metal, and gouged rotors too. Thats a fun 800 bucks for no reason.

Added a tbsp of downey to the power steering fluid. No more whine from the PS pump.

Got the headers and exhaust done, and promptly burned a hole in my #1 refrigerant suction line. Love the headers and exhaust.

I need to do that on both sides.

Never heard of that before. How does it work?

^not happy today to say the least...

the LX will now be getting weekly test rides on Sunday. . .

ROTOR

here is a pic of my DS rotor. I am a firm believer in the " if its brakes it replaced on the entire axle" philosophy. Thus, i did the rotor and pad on the other side as well. Although the PS was well worn from years of use as well.

That's definitely worse than mine, but my better judgement tells me I should still probably replace one if not both of the front rotors.
