Installed 2inch Ironman4x4 lift this weekend, front shocks were a walk in the park, rear shocks however, had me making up swear words that I didn't know exist lol.
After the install which took about 7 hours, I headed over the pep boys to have my old 275/70R16 Yokohama Geolander A/Ts taken off and my new 285/75R16 Yokohama M/Ts installed. First pic is me regretting my decision to not cough up the money for the local shop to do it for me, other two pics are before and after the tire swap.

Hello 10MPG, goodbye 13MPG

Nice! Yeah its your cruiser so I didnt want to be the first to say but the front is definitely real tall currently and you will notice a much better ride as soon as you lower it down. Clean rig

I went to do some minor maintenance on the 8Ball but the engine compartment was so filthy that it totally derailed my plans. OCD kicked in and I ended up hand-washing the entire engine compartment (no hose, no foam, only Simple Green, rags and elbow grease)! Ahhh....much better!

Replaced all my plugs and coils with OEM and Denso. Torqued plugs to 18 ft/lbs. Access to everything isn't that bad at all.

While I was in there, cleaned my MAF sensor and throttle body. Pretty manageable after work job. Noticeable improvement in overall performance of the vehicle.

The coils were pretty toasted, as you can see. The really distressed boots that are light in color practically broke apart in my hand. I also now know I need to replace all my vacuum lines. They're all rock hard. Post-work, the engine and acceleration feels really smooth, consistent and delivers more oomph, for lack of better term.

I disconnected my battery before firing it back up as I read that is a good thing to do to re-set engine idle after you clean the MAF sensor. The engine fired up, then cut out and shut off, but then I started it again and it was all gravy from there.

I was hoping replacing the new plugs would get rid of my cold start tick, but no dice there. I'm most likely in the hairline manifold crack club for now. 240K miles on the engine, so that checks out.

Out with the SPC UCA and in with Dobinsons. Really disappointed in this set of SPC’s, worn out in 6k miles and one wheeling trip. Managed to trace my clunking noise down to the UCA. Not sure how or why, but both sides were binding causing a clunking noise when the suspension cycled. It progressively got worse to the point it was unbearable. I replaced them with the Dobinsons and the noise is completely gone. Super happy this ordeal is done with.

Side note: The 100 is back from paint and fully reassembled. Will have post pictures of the end result in a few days.

Gorgeous color. I'm jelly.

Ok guys I figured out the cheat code to install headers on a 100 series. Step 1: pull the engine out.

Replacing this 2UZ engine on a 100. 3 hours to pull motor. Swapping all the parts over from the old engine, is several hours of work!

Pulled the ventilation fan since it was making a noise when on high. Come to find there were leaves in the fan blade area and the all blades were dirty from almost 20 years of use. Used a dry shop rag to clean the blades as best I can and a blower attachment to my compressor to get as much of the dirt as possible (and there was a lot) and reinstalled. It's now quiet again.

Man the VSC delete topped my list this past week driving through backroads of WV through many mountains. Nonstop beeping at me and tried to brake for me a few different times. No front sway bar and the IMS up from
Like a year ago 😬
