An extra-dirty and needs a paint job real bad but still rips hard and is mechanically perfect s2000. It's a ton of fun, but the polar opposite of the LX470... except that the LX ALSO needs paint.

Also pictured, my HF floor jack and the trim boards I'm trying to turn into a screen porch out back. The DIYness never ends.

Replaced my alternator due to premature failure. :/ I installed a 130A Denso rebuild for the newer 100 series in my '99, with the necessary connector.

I did a DIY one in our "new" (now almost 3yo) house, knowing I'd be in there working on all kinds of junk and not wanting oil stains. It was a solid move. I just did gray with black/ white/ blue flecks, but if I had it to do again I'd skip the flecks, or maybe just do one color. Floor is protected and looks great (when it's clean, which is NEVER)- but if you drop a bolt it can be tough to see/ find.

Shout out to ArmorPoxy on their polyurea one-step coating, though. My wife didn't get the memo I wasn't done and drove in before it was dry, left Honda Oddysey tracks and a couple of shoe prints. Alls I had to do was run another coat over (its' self leveling and solvent based so it melts into itself) and resprinkle chips and... done. There's still evidence, but if I don't TELL you about it you can't see it. Cool stuff. Smells weird for a couple weeks while it fully cures, but it's dry in a day.View attachment 3109222
What kind of slicker than sh*t stuff is this? Who just leaves an S2K laying around when showing off their sexy shop floor? Seriously that looks nice as all get out. Thanks, Mud members for more stuff I didn't know I needed. Like sexy shop floors and S2Ks. Ya jerks!

I had a red 06, it was my favorite car. I miss it so much 😩 I can only imagine how fun it must be to rip the S2K after driving the 100 for a while!

Hey whatcha, doin'? oh, you know, just some Landcruiser stuff... What's Landcruiser stuff? You know, the monthly donation to the local stealership.

Almost two years after receiving my ASFIR underbody plates, I finally installed the intermediate plate. It was kind of required to avoid catalytic converter theft for my trip to Toronto via Detroit.

Here's a horrible quality picture

Hey now! Detroit is a lovely town. Once you get past the violence, fires, and general anarchy. You got people like me out of it! Haha You're welcome 'Merica.

Managed to find some time to do a little more up keep on the ole girls. The tan one needed to finish up the brake job which included new yota pads and rotors all around. I found the caliper pins almost seized in there. A lil heat and lots of lube later they are free and working finely.

Replaced the hatch struts on Project250 and replaced the hardware holding the third row window to the actuator. The one on it fell off for some random reason. I also had the shop repair a rear axle seal.

Took the family to camp hauling a 20 ft car trailer with a wheeler on it and it turns out you can get 21.8 gal in fuel in there if you run it really low.

Ironing out electrical system gremlins. I really, reeeeallly think these things do not enjoy voltage problems. Or maybe just coincidence. Alternator cable fix this week, earlier, and yesterday had to get the spare coil from my glovebox and swap #6 out. Misfire managed. Cool.

Now I’ve got a headlight out again. 😂

They’re like mistresses … constantly craving attention and expensive trinkets … but the ride is absolutely worth every minute and penny spent 😜

I am running out of places to put switches so I had to get creative for the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite brake controller switch.

Hacked out the mirror switch mount to fit the Redarc switch.

When I saw how cheaply I could drop 50 lbs., add a couple HP, and make Black Betty rumble a bit, I jumped on it.

I also had them raise the tailpipe a few inches for clearance and pint it down so it doesn't blow on my leg while I'm working on the rear tailgate.

The muffler itself is half the height of the factory one so its far less likely to catch on rocks, roots, or debris, and it weighs half as much as well, so with that plus losing the resonator I dropped about 50 lbs.

What Magnaflow series is that? Any noticeable gain in efficiency? Better acceleration or softer idles?

I have driven it like 20 minutes haha. It sounds good though.

MagnaFlow 4in x 9in Oval Center/Offset Straight-Through Performance Muffler Exhaust Satin Finish 11255

nice hot soldering iron would suffice
