My '98 shuts off the dome and door lights in about 20 minutes whether I like it to or not. Not same as yours?
Same here on my 04.

When we're camping and trying to keep bugs out, I just close the hatch lock mechanism with a small carabiner. It shuts off all the dome lights. I even have one of those nifty red "remove before flight" tags hanging off it.

I found out that the leather shift knob cover I had made fits on the 100 series.

Took advantage of the BFS and got myself an added insurance policy.

Tapped it at the 12V source in the overhead console using the 12V to 5V converter module. What’s interesting about this 12V source is key in or out when the engine is Off, that source powers On and has a a 15 minute delay hence powering the dashcam for an extended time and may/can capture additional useful footage. I highly recommend this setup.

I saw that on Ig. Lx_plore posted a video someone did that. Is when i knew to also use that method. After a couple slams of os*** later 🤣 and bored w stuff laying around I figuered add the switch.
Haha, I have a bright orange floating keychain connected to my carabiner as a visual reminder that it's there.

What’s the best axle seal puller tool for our 100?View attachment 2854569
Lol
I have one like that from Advance Auto. Well worn from over a decade of use on Nissans. It's like the stubby JIS driver that I keep around. Sometimes it just fits the crazy place where I need to use it.

I’m curious what your trick was to releasing the housing from the lower clip. Or is there a lower screw. I’m trying to replace the left turn signal bulb and cannot figure out how to remove the assembly.
There is a clip that holds the turn signal housing to the head light housing. It’s kind of hidden but accessible.

Got the extender from LandcruiserPhil

I also replaced my terminals, replaced the ground wire, and extended the negative wire. Still need to route it better/not have it draped over the fuse box, but at least I have some more wiggle room.

Now I just need to find AHC fluid because I have brand new globes sitting in the garage!

I like that terminal. What brand is that?

I think I'd be in trouble with that long shift lever. It would probably be more tempting for one of my kids to pull it while driving at highway speed.
