Any sounds clips of exhaust and what series did you get?
Magnaflow # 11255. I tried to get a meaningful clip, but failed. It’s pretty throaty, but not excessively loud. I work along the public byways (city arborist) and loath loud exhaust noise, so I was pleased to find that this one is really more of a tone change than a volume increase. And am especially pleased that it only cost $120 plus a clamp and some welding wire/gas. Cats are still intact, though I did do away with the resonator (some time ago).

Is that on public land?

No such thing in Texas unfortunately. It's due to our being a badly indebted nation of our own before Texas joined the US, debts which were settled by selling all the land to private land holders. It's the biggest reason I'm looking to move west in the future.

After about a year of scratching my head, techstream, rechecking torque and replacing ancillary parts, found the culprit behind the ever-so-slight misfire...

Now I know where the missing insert from my sparkplug socket went!
Chipped-off the melted rubber, cleaned the area, reinstalled the plug and no more misfire.

Ah man, that's one of those super-frustrating things to find

Bought a bunch of OEM stuff from Bell Lexus North Scottsdale They already have better than others’ online OEM prices, free shipping over $100 code: SHIPLEXUS and an extra 20% off today only for cyber Monday. I bought my steering rack while still in the hospital, then cancelled and reordered it at $200 cheaper, so I bought more parts; water pump, timing belt, and fan shroud all for just $36 more than the rack was yesterday! Dan Dickerson is my contact.

Bell Lexus is great. I almost use them exclusively for OEM stuff.

Thanks for the heads up!!! Scored big on things I’ve needed, wanted and don’t need at all! My wife gave me the craziest look when I said I was going to load up on Lexus parts for cyber Monday lol.

380,000 miles on our 98 and I just had to change the driver side inner CV boot ... for the first time ... ever ... lol ...
I did passenger side maybe 100,000 miles ago ? ...

as an aside, my in-laws bought the truck new
we got it from them at 150k
when I did my timing belt and water pump at 200k, I called the inlaws and asked them how it went at 100k .. they replied "what's a timing belt & water pump? " ... more lolz ...

Love ya Landy!

Bought an ASFIR front skid plate. Ordered on Black Friday and received in California today WED. I think it shipped from Israel, so 3 business days, simply amazing. Fits great, I used some longer bolts that I had laying around, instead of the factory ones.

Been using the weekender as a work truck again, my diesel Ferd Ranger snapped a flywheel (silly dual mass design) i don't have time to replace it as I'm taking this big girl on a couple road trip, 6000km round trip by the time I head north for a week, then south again

I'm constantly using it like this for carting big stuff around town. Just too easy to load her up and take off
End up paying for it though with scratches throughout. Already came with quite a few when I bought it though so no biggie.
I've fit a 925L Samsung fridge/freezer in the old girl with the seats out. Who needs a trailer

Added on/off switch on rear hatch

Delete red wire if you dont want the led on the switch on. I opted not tonhave led

black and green will go on one end of the connector.

yellow and red if you want led on I choose no led so only yellow

yellow goes to other end

Received my front diff bushing parts today. The OE parts were a pain to source so I ended up buying them from Part Souq. Took a little less than a week to arrive from the UAE. Not sure what to do about the little round bushing on the banana.

Ive drained my battery before for leaving hatch open while camping. Now I can turn it off and will turn off the light from inside and side steps.
My '98 shuts off the dome and door lights in about 20 minutes whether I like it to or not. Not same as yours?
