Cool. Mine is currently in same half-broke state. The inside adjustment, nah- but the fold em up button still works. Weird.
The fold-up button always worked. The inside mirror adjustment was slowly having problems.

Proved to myself that the cruiser can tow a decent sized trailer. Stayed out of OD, and kept it around 65 to 70mph.

For anyone curious.. the 4x4labs bumper can easily handle the job; as long as you are confident in your welding skills, it is stronger than the factory hitch.. however I had to remove the tire, and slide the can basket over to avoid hitting the front of the RV lift.

1/4 banana job, adding the Trekboxx padded cover for the rear tailgate panel in anticipation of a trip to the mountains in a couple of weeks!

Where did you order it from? Ebay?

Saved some change and delivery time by ordering from Partsouq.com. I usually get faster delivery from Dubai. This only works for small parts.

Swapped my OEM wheels to TRD Tundra wheels. Did the same thing on my last 2003 LC. Have these wheels on my 2016 Tundra SR5 as well. The front center caps take some work with a Dremel to get to seat well, but it's fairly easy. I love how it modernizes the look and it goes well with white. Rear bumper coming soon.

Finally swapped from OME 863s the PO installed to dobinson 167s. Slowly ridding my lx of OME bits... front shocks are next. Rides and looks so much better.

Also used it for a smuggling mission from CO to WY to get some sweet sweet oil based paint for some historic houses I work on. Got some sexy MPGs on a 240 mile round trip.

Installed a vais tech emulator for Bluetooth music playback plus has few other options.

Worth a look for anyone who's not seen these devices and wants to keep it simple, plug and play for most applications.

Pulled it out of the garage after a two solid months of working after hours. Especially happy for the beadlocks...I needed to drop tire pressures to clear the door frame. I also regeared the axles, so the first order of business was to take it nice and easy, which went well. Yes, that's my big dumb head.

Then, just as I got home: ATF everywhere. Not a drop at stops prior, as I was checking to see that my homemade lines were fine. Surprisingly, they are. I had an 80 series box rebuilt with 105 internals a while back in anticipation of the SAS, and...it's puking everywhere. Even at idle I lose all the fluid in the reservoir within 20 minutes. :bang:

I'll try and put together a thread with all the build details, but right now I have to find another 80 box. I'm supposed to be west of the Seattle area on Saturday.

So I recently replaced my entire A/C system except hardlines. Has been running mint, except now the evaporator is working correctly, the amount of water melting off the evap core is leaking through the cover to passenger floor. This probably happens because the original seal stopped doing its job. This seemed to fix it:

Cut a piece of AC pipe insulation thin strip (like strip caulk):

Line the bottom area of the evaporator box (not cover side) and screw it back on (8 screws):

Viola, no more leak after a long drive and letting it sit an hour or so, also ran finger along, nothing. All gone out outlet under car

Nearly finished my 4X4Labs bumper build- 1 spindle left and building the arms of the carriers left, and then, in a pique of conscience, decided that the first day of a long holiday weekend should be spent cleaning the old girl up, pulling out the front seats, vacuuming the whole area, and “steam cleaning” the carpet. wiped down everything in sight as well. Next two weeks will be wrapping up other projects, then I think I may play with her for the rest of the summer.

Nice!!!! That is on my to do list! What was the fit up like? Do the parts fit nearly perfect or is there a bit of a gap between parts that need filled with weld?
