Like the look but how does it affect turning radius? If not too bad thinking of picking up a set myself.

No perceivable difference in parking the ole girl to me.

That was the thought, but I've scrapped that idea for now. It's still on my mind though..
Don't do that. I know that I'd never use it except maybe for when I went on trips and the truck would just be sitting. Run it into the cab, there are plenty of places you can mount it where it would never be found

So I tried the 93 RON at costco and I’m impressed. I average 290-300 miles on a single full tank of gas on 87 octane. I am now 375 miles and the gas tank light just turned on. ⛽

Actual consumption (not on the trip computer) is 16.9 mpg, driving style is light footed and just on the speed limit.

I've seen similar results with Shell v-power Nitro. No complaints about mileage considering the size and a V8. Not a huge difference between the UJZ100 and the Tacoma. V6.

I thought we were all running 91/93 gas. No?

I strictly run Shell 93 octane (as posted at the pump) Nitro - updated post. Kroger sells 93 octane. Not sure of the supplier.

Nope, I've only ever run 87. Maybe mid grade if they were out of 87.

Why pay so much more? Maybe you get a few more miles per tank on higher grade fuel, but does that math work out to offset the much higher cost? I doubt it.

You have just opened up an infinite can of worms...

2.44 (93) vs 2.22 (87) at costco with a 80 mile longevity difference, I think it’s worth it.

X2. Exclusively shell 93 unless I’m on a road trip and have no other choice. Pretty sure the owners manual calls for 91+... normally if the manual says to use 5w30 oil then we’ll use 5w30, not sure why we’d deviate from that because we don’t want to pay a few $ more... I’m sure I could find cheaper oil too.
