I was commissioned by @ga12r1 to make a direct bolt in fuse block bracket.

Here is the prototype. It will hold 4 different BlueSea panels (5026, 5025, 5029 and 5028) two 12 and two 6 circuit models and a spot for a Bussmann breaker as well. I'll make the first one from 1/8" aluminum and if I don't like it I'll bump to 3/16". Plenty of room under the hood too.

Will you be selling this?

Had to hit the mud puddle for my inner child—

Installed a Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform with the backbone on my LX. I'm very pleased with the function and look of this thing so far. I haven't noticed wind noise with the sunroof closed. When the sunroof is open it sounds like a tornado.

A number of things recently. This spring I switched to 866's to Slee heavies. I got no real increase in hight and once it was loaded for summer camping I had almost no rake. So I installed 30 mm spacers and did @TRAIL TAILOR extended rear links at the same time. We'll see how this rear spring setup works. Might move to 863s or splurge on tourflex.

After HIH I installed my new comeup winch:

Today I got around to using intalling the extended front links from @TRAIL TAILOR. By far easiest job ever done on my LC. When I took the link bolt out it looked great. I thought "maybe these links are in fine shape..." then I pulled the old links. DS bushing was shot:

On PS when I went to loosen the top nut the link actually snapped!

Nice new links. Running some trails tomorrow so we'll see if I can tell a difference.

Hit 250k and treated her to some new front end components to stiffen things up.

New OEM LCAs (incl body bushings and lower ball joints)
New front sway bar extended links - @TRAIL TAILOR and body bushings
New Front Outer Tie Rod Ends - Three 5s from @cruiseroutfit
New rear sway bar extended links - @TRAIL TAILOR and body bushings
Some new rubber! 33’s in BFG KO2

A steering rack is in my near future....

Alternator went on me just shy of 400000 kms on the original so I swapped that out with a remanufactured denso. Was a bit of a pain to drop it down underneath without taking the radiator off but got it done. Was still running a little off and would die sometimes when first starting it so I tried the easiest fix first and cleaned the MAF and that seems to have solved the issue. Ordered up some valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, and a coil plug(just incase) so more maintenance to come.

Installed a new Laird 3G/4G multiband omni antenna for my cell signal booster setup on the Massive Rear Hatch Mount Kit. Just waiting on a right angle connector to clean up the wire. Time to test it out!

Returned from trip through central Nevada, Idaho and Yellowstone. A bit over 3,000 miles of Land Cruiser bliss (I did make the mistake of opening my moon roof for the first time in years only to have it refuse to close - finally did with wd40, battery reset, and forceful pulling). Clyde (dog) seemed confused by river water - no waves like the Pacific Ocean!

Central Nevada has great dark skies for stargazing!

We also visited Yellowstone and Grand Teton Park last week. Unfortunately I couldn't take my Alex on this trip.
Did you know that there are 4Xr4 only trails in Grand Teton National Park?

Just bought my 100 in July. Went to the Chattahooche National Forest in North Georgia and had as much fun as I was comfortable having on street tires. This week I installed new Power Stop front brakes & rotors and new OEM grade Monroe shocks. Also replaced the subwoofer with an Audio Pipe 6. I bought 2 pairs of Rockford Fosgate Primes for the doors but I haven’t installed them yet.

Keep us up to date on those Powerstops. I'm due for new rotors in the next 1-2 months. Looking at DBA, EBC and those Powerstops.
