So that's the VL2 system? More pictures of the interface please. What's the climate control and trip info pages look like? Like you said, it is a bit pricey at $550ish but for what it does, I'd rather do that than anything else.

Climate control and trip computers remain factory. They don't interface with the VLine system at all. Even the factory nav still works—the VLine takes over the 'disc' slot, and just takes over the screen you'd see when changing discs, tracks, etc.

Went out and played in the desert with some friends

Added my Scangauge II to the truck and gave it a wash today. Still need to see what other options are out there for monitoring on the Scangauge.

I don't mean to be a stickler, but the flag that you have on the rear window is facing the wrong way. The stars always go to the left. e.g they charge in to the fight.

I have the original Vline 1 from when they first came out back in '16 I think. They were very clunky at first and I was sooo close to sending it back but they have all of the major bugs worked out now and it's pretty seamless for me. Everything you mentioned works normally in the truck, no difference. Hust think of it as when you press the CD button it switches over to the little computer that runs on an android system. From there you can use the touchscreen to press buttons, open apps etc. If you want to use Android Auto or Apple CarPlay just plug your phone into the Vline and it works like any aftermarket headunit with that capability.

Gonna have to take it up with Forge Overland. That’s how they print it.

I think he meant, you put it on the wrong side of the vehicle. If it was on the passenger side it would be facing the right way, because if it were double sided then it would be correct when viewed from the inside looking out. Just my input, I'm sure you meant no disrespect.

wasn't trying to take a jab, its been ingrained in me and thought I'd share in case you weren't aware. You'd be surprised how many people do not know proper American flag etiquette.

Here's a little extra information if you're interested:

Didn’t mean to come off aggressive. In meetings so I quickly replied. Thanks for the comment. Didn’t pay attention to that when I applied it years ago. Learned something new today.

Thanks! Another $600 item is added to my shopping list. :bang:

Replaced plugs w/ Denso TT Iridiums and installed the last pair of replacement Denso coil packs (been changing them out @ two/month).
Ignition system now ready for another 110,000 miles...

I do have one but it is gray and for an LX470... slightly different style but I think will fit.

In preparation for an upcoming trip to Utah, I added a Wilco swing away Tire Carrier. There was absolutely no way to get the 295-70-18 under the truck! I also gave the LC a much needed bath and coat of wax! Had it aligned AGAIN. Removed a bunch of chrome trim that was added by the dealer 15 years ago. Worked on a dent my kid put in the front fender when he hit my boat trailer 2 years ago.

What do you guys think....Should I remove the CHROME Bull Bar thing from the front? It has helped me over some obstacles without damaging the bumper. I hate chrome but can't buy the bumpers I want for awhile.

If anyone has a Tundra Wheel that matches my others for sale, let me know! I'm in the San Diego area but will gladly pay for shipping.

Yeah, get rid of that chrome fake bullbar. It does nothing but reduces your approach angle and act as a damage multiplier.
