I wanted a wheel that wasn't a fake beadlock and that's getting tough to find.....

J,

I been looking at buying a set just like those for the exact same reasons. Can't wait to see how they look mounted on your truck.

New valve cover gaskets. Pretty simple job.

Decided to test fit my gear in the rear cargo basket. Taking a new years trip up to South Core in the Outer Banks. Dissent bumper won't arrive in time so this is my best option to open some room in the hundy and keep gas outside the cabin. Rerouting my exhuast before the trip in advance of the rear bumper so heat shouldn't be a problem.

And all new speakers and subwoofer to replace blown stuff, and a VAIS adapter to replace the non working grom unit I found when installing the VAIS...and weather tech mats. And a new 3rd brake light to replace the cracked one that let half of a hurricane in the tailgate....

I have some 18” steel wheels from a 2010 tundra with like new tires for sale... I’m posting pix and price Monday. Or pm .

Where'd you grab the 16 inch steelies from?

Cruiserparts.

These are actually wheels Brian Jowett posted for sale here last summer--I PMd him almost immediately after I got my 100 and found he'd sold the lot to Cruiserparts. I was very glad they still had some--I don't think they're listed on their site, but if you call Craig, he may still have some.

Would love to know the Toyota part number for these--haven't been able to find it anywhere--not stamped into 'em, not online, etc. I originally thought these might be the 16x6.5J "Type A" rims from the 100 series wheel chart, but they're not, and I don't know what they are, other than Brian's testimony that they're new take-offs from a 79 series, IIRC. They're stamped 2016 or 2017, so they're definitely recent.

If you're REALLY into tall skinny tires, Cruiserparts also has the 225/95R16 (which I believe are the equivalent of the old 7.50x16) Dunlops that were mounted on these originally for sale. Those were too big a step up in diameter for me, but would look super cool with a 1-2" lift.

Sorry for the tangent. Back to what folks did to their trucks!

I hauled my brother and our kids to my parents....! Fun trip! This 100 is getting my stamp of approval before my lady turns it into her daily and sells her 4Runner

Finishing the rotor swap to Powerstops. Last photo is a good shot of the flattened axle grease cap to get the center caps to fit on the ‘18 Tundra TRD rims.
