Thats exactly what the coopers we put on my wifes F150 did...repeatedly. Got them at discount tire so rebalancing is no charge but after every 3 to 4k of driving the balance is off. Won't be buying them again YMMV

I've found if you take the truck to a different Discount and tell them the issue they'll make sure it's perfect. I guess there's bragging rights among he stores.

I’d tuck it up behind the bumper, out of the way of the spare. Then make or order yourself a short, 2’ max, female to male extension. Once you’ve tucked it, I doubt most wiring coming from the trailer will be long enough to reach it and maintain the full turning radius, thus the need for an extension.

That's what I've done.

Last night I finally changed the fluids on the diffs and transfer case after 5 months of ownership, probably picked up 10 HP.

I always clutz something up on even the simplest of jobs, kicked over an open bottle of gear oil and half of it spilled and spread on the garage floor. I can't do anything nice, clean, and easy for some reason.

fueled up and went for a ride , dreaming of all the awesome extras to add , bumpers awning sliders , things like that . just got an lx a couple months ago and now saving my pennies to build it . not new to toyota but my first 100 and I’m lovin every thing about it . Godzilla is the name , big , green , Japanese and has a big appetite.

What the what?! I can't wait to see installed pics, read your review of the process and hear how testing goes. I'd LOVE to do this myself. I hate the torsion bars.

Nothing to the 100 but I got a new hat for beach driving. Gotta wear it to work, my supervisor drives a Range Rover.

Installed bi-xenon conversion 06-07 headlights onto my 1999. These are the OEM headlights. I wanted to retain the 99 grille so I had to do some fender trimming and grille cutting. Conversion was done by Lightwerkz (highly recommended).
Oh, and I also blacked out the grille with plasti dip.

Any tips on blacking out the grill? I just discovered plasti-dip (thanks mud). Should I apply it just as I would spray paint? One coat? Three? Is it prone to runs like spray paint?

Thanks in advance for pointers.

Warm up the spray can(s) by soaking in hot tap water first, that's the secret to perfect Plasti-dipping. It goes on really thin. Apply many thin coats, sometimes over ten, to get a good durable coat.
