Just returned from the scales to know how much my truck weighs after adding all my mods.
Scale said: 5940 lbs with 1/2 tank of fuel (my body weight subtracted). If stated curb weight is 5390lbs- then Ive had a net gain of 550lbs with all the mods in my sig line.

Absolutely Fantastic!! Great job flying the drone, and stitching together some beautiful video. That sums up what many of us dream of using our 100's for.
I had the similar idea recently about using a drone to pace and film my offroad adventures after stumbling on a new reasonably priced drone offered by GoPro. What set up are you using?

Thanks! It's the dji mavic pro. Flying steady is tough but I've been flying RC planes sice I was 10 or so. The GF is excited because she gets to do all the driving now haha.

2nd row seats are in, 3rd row seats are gone, replaced with KISS drawers.
I keep all of my recovery gear & tools in the garage until I head out so these were not loaded for this weigh in. My recovery gear however is a reasonably "light" kit: soft shackles, tree strap, dynamic rope extension, Highlift.
Tools on the other hand could be easily 50lbs more
The mounts are "Yakima Horizontal Mighty Mount Crossbar Roof Rack Adaptors" PN 23H https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00066Z2CE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I used the bolts that came with the mounts for the quick fists and I used the maxtrax pin bolts for the maxtrax. I had to drill those mounts out to fit the larger diameter bolt.
It was a pretty tricky descent, narrow with lots of trees lining it and a series of ledges. My drivers front came down a little too hard of a ledge and the ground came loose. Slowly slid right into the tree.
Tires are 255/85-16 Dick Cepek Extreme Country.

After my last trip which was just out to the Outer Banks I had the MaxTrax inside the vehicle in a BROG bag but they take up a lot of room, I liked they were out of sight and out of mind. I wish I could say I need a roof rack but I honestly don't and that's a great way to use the factory roof, Thank you for the size reference I got a buddy that's a manager at a bicycle shop and he can get me a slight discount on those. I hope,

Any issues with you losing the bead while under inflated?
I have an extra set of wheels I want 255s, or 285s on.

I had them inside as well but I hated having to worry about getting them clean before putting them back in and they take up loads of room. Having them on the roof keeps the interior clean and they're easy to access. The Maxtrax mounting pins have a hole to lock them closed for security if you leave them up there.
Regarding the tires, I absolutely love them. The narrow profile means a very minimal hit on MPG and driveability, lots of grip and plenty of clearance in the wheel wells (I run 1.25' spacers, just because). They fit great on the stock wheels so no more risk of losing a bead than any other tire on the right size rim. I don't think I'd ever go to a wider tire after these, just taller.

Tried out the 3M eraser wheel today on aged pin stripes! Wow it worked actually really really well. The pressure washer at the car wash took a lot of them off. The wheel works great in my little cordless drill.
Going to have to start researching a good DA to work on my paint soon.
End goal is all gold stuff removed form the rear. Already have a new chrome front sombrero.
Then flares removed and inspect what's under them.
Whole rig needs a good wash, clay bar, then polish and polish again.
So I've been reading about HF, PC, Griots, and Meguiars. I like Meguiars products but am wondering if anywhere local is going to stock the foam pads and such I'll need quicker access to.

Upgraded the USB I had installed last year to the 4.8A version.
Where you required to tear apart your dash or could you just pull the OEM outlet and replace it?
Tech note - As many know very few USB outlets will deliver more than 1a to an Apple iPad. Blue Sea both the 1039 (rectangle USB 4.8a) and the 1045 4.8a shown above were developed with the iPad in mind. Therefor both the 1039 and 1045 will deliver more than 1a to Apple devices.

I've seen one person slowly and carefully cut the factory 90" terminal that is molded into one piece into the separate spade lugs and attach them that way!
Pretty nifty if you ask me, that's what I'm planning on doing.
Also you might need to slightly enlarge the hole.
