Decided to get some sand under our feet and scout out some new spots.
Replaced my front door lock actuator motors. First one took way longer than it should have . Next one went pretty quick only hold up was getting the clamshell open, but once that was done it went smooth it's great to hear the locks hammer open and close
Removed the old cloth speaker fabric and sprayed the grill's black.
Intended to do all new u-joints this weekend. Was sent the wrong parts for the front DS but the truck drives ok as RWD for the moment. Had a s*** ton of trouble getting the old joints out of the rear. Corrosion! Likely won't completely solve my 1200-1600RPM "growl" but it has helped. Flats on the trunions can't be good for vibration!
Thinking motor/diff mount bushings may be the next part of the growl story.

Tow the boat to the lake and will be leaving Tuesday for Mexico the two main reason we purchased it.
Data point - Just figured my MPG for pulling the boat to the lake 9MPG
When I consider I got 13 pulling the same boat to the same lake using our Dodge Cummins 4WD

Plasti-dip'd the wheels this weekend. Turned out a lot better than I thought it would. Will see how well it actually holds up to the elements and trails.

Go get a can of the Camo paint (I picked mine up at Wally World). One of the shades of tan is a dead on match. I'll take a pic of mine when i get a chance.
@LandCruiserPhil what suspension and tire set up are you running? Stock gears? And how does the 100 handle the extra weight? Sorry for all the questions

I run air bags and have them dialed in to the AHC to handle the 5000# of towing and maintaining a great wife approved ride
